Our Mental Elf 5k route has changed this year and takes us from the start line near Worden Hall, past the model railway, up the main path and bears right into the woods. After the main car park we will then follow a woodland path back to the beginning.

Today's fundraising shout-out goes to Jon, Vanessa, Matt, Tom & Scott.

Earlier this month, they took on the 𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 and together raised an incredible £3,727.25 including Gift Aid. 🏃‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️
Running 13.1 miles is no small challenge, and we know just how much time, training and determination goes into getting to that start line, never mind crossing the finish line! From early morning runs to squeezing training in around work, family and everything else life throws at you, it's a huge commitment.
We're so grateful that they chose to take on this challenge in support of Lancashire Mind. Every pound raised will help us continue delivering mental health and wellbeing support to people across Lancashire.
A massive thank you from all of us for every mile, every donation, and every conversation started along the way. We're incredibly proud to have had you on Team Lancashire Mind.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐮𝐬 plan ahead, stay sustainable, and continue offering mental health and support to people across . Quite simply, your fundraising helps us be there when our communities need us most.

Losing someone you love can change everything. For children and young people, navigating grief can feel especially difficult. But having somewhere safe to talk, connect and feel understood can make a real difference. That's what The Wave Project is all about.
Discover how families across Blackburn with Darwen are helping shape a new bereavement support service, creating spaces where children, young people and their families can feel supported, understood and less alone.
From bringing families together to helping young people find ways to understand and cope with grief, it's a reminder of just how powerful community and connection can be.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 💙
Our Operations Team attended the Preston Volunteers Forum at Preston Town Hall, hosted by Community CVS in August 💙
The forum brought together local organisations to discuss community assets, accessibility, volunteering developments across Preston, and how we can continue to shape and strengthen opportunities for volunteers.
As we continue to grow our own volunteer programme, including interviewing 14 fantastic volunteer candidates in early September, it was brilliant to connect with others, share ideas, and learn from the experiences of organisations across the city.
A big thank you to Preston Community CVS for creating such a welcoming and supportive space for collaboration. Together, we're helping build stronger communities through volunteering. Preston City Council
