Your opportunity to inform research!
The University of Southampton have recently launched a survey for parents and grandparents in the UK whose child has died suddenly and unexpectedly between the ages of 0 – 30 years, between 9 months and five years ago.
The study, ‘Investigating experiences, needs and outcomes of bereaved families and professionals after sudden child death.’ Aims to find out how family’s lives are changed after the sudden and unexpected loss of a child, the effect this has on their health and wellbeing, and how effective the investigations, care and support provided was. Knowing this will improve the care and support provided to bereaved families in the future.
The parent survey can be completed online and will take about 60 minutes to complete. The grandparent survey will take about 50 minutes to complete. Both surveys will be completely confidential.
