We are incredibly proud to share some significant news.
Dan Hill, our CEO at Daddys With Angels, has been appointed as a member of the Health Equity Expert Reference Group as part of the NHS Maternity and Neonatal Investigation. As part of the Expert Reference Group, Dan will support the Maternity and Neonatal Investigation by providing wider perspectives and insights that will assist the Taskforce to make positive change to the care that all families deserve.
This appointment is a recognition of the vital importance of the lived experience of bereaved dads and families in shaping the future of maternity and neonatal care in this country.
Dan brings with him the voices of thousands of families supported by Daddy's With Angels over the years, and he will ensure those voices are represented in such an important investigation.
Dan said ‘It is a huge honour to be asked to be a part of such an important group. Never before has there been such a determined push at the highest levels to ensure that all families receive the safest, most consistent care regardless of region, social, racial and cultural backgrounds. To be able to give a voice to the groups I represent is something I am truly humbled to be asked to do and a measure of how far DWA has come in the last 15 years. I hope I can feedback some great things in the coming months’
