Today, we celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads, foster dads, adoptive dads, father figures, and mentors who make a difference every day. Whether you offer a listening ear, a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or simply show up when it matters most, your love, support, and guidance help shape lives in ways that are truly priceless. We know that families come in all shapes and sizes, and today we send our appreciation to everyone who plays a positive fatherly role in the lives of others.

We also recognise that Father’s Day can be a difficult day for many people. Today, we are thinking of those who are missing their dads, remembering cherished memories, navigating loss, or finding the day challenging for other reasons. Whatever today means for you, please know that you are not alone, and we send you our love and support.

Wishing everyone a day filled with kindness, love, reflection, and special moments with those who matter most. 💙

🎅☀️ Blessing in Disguise is proud to present our very special Santa in July event on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, from 1pm–3pm at the Ellesmere Suite, Leigh.

This free event is for children who were either ill or hospitalised over Christmas, for children for whom Christmas 2026 may sadly not be an option, or for those currently facing difficulties and challenges due to their condition. ❤️

We are currently looking for nominations. If you know a child who would benefit from this special day, please inbox Blessing in Disguise for a nomination form.

Parents and siblings of the nominated child are also invited to attend, so families can spend precious time together and create treasured memories. 🎁✨

We have some exciting news! 🎉 A limited number of tickets are available for the Circus Starr Wigan Show 🎪 at the Edge Arena on Friday, June 5th. The showtimes are 4:45 PM and 7:00 PM. ⏰

If you would like to request tickets, please send us a direct message. 📩 You must be registered to make a request. Tickets are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that there is a £2 postage fee for the tickets.
Tickets are only for those named on the GDPR forms or at registration. There will be an age cap on the tickets and tickets will be issued at our discretion.
