A fun, family run, family funded equine rescue centre, in the heart of the community, that aims to give people, ponies & places a second chance.

Not done for any profit, wages or donations - everyone giving their money & time freely for the love of it. A charity that aims to give people, ponies and places a second chance. As people turn rescues around they themselves are often turned around. People often see themselves in the rescue. The pony might have been abused, neglected, and/or abandoned. Some have challenging behaviour, struggle to

trust, or are frightened. Weight might be a problem. They can be lonely, depressed or orphaned. Many are sick eve have cancer or a genetic disorder. Yet each is so special, often very forgiving and forward looking. How can we not be moved? How can we not be challenged to look at ourselves? If there is hope, help and healing for them there might be for us too. Where things can't be changed an acceptance - making each day count. As the old principle has it, if we reach out and give we, are often reached and given what we really need ourselves. Even if it is not much we can always cheerfully make a positive difference to a person, a pony and or a place. Hopefully our children and others will follow suit too.

Thanks for the lovely updates. Great to hear how well 'our' rescues are doing & to see how much you & your kids love them. :)

Heart warming how many of you mentioned how mega-tame, good natured & easy even the youngsters are. :)

So nice to see last years projects hacking out with little children, old timers showing/ jumping/competing etc. & companion pets just brightening people's lives. :)

Last year 'our' furthest away ponies were in Scotland & Holland but, just to make us all jealous, handsome Ash & his companion will be immigrating with their amazing family to Italy! A small holding is already waiting for them. Safe journey! :)

Please, keep the pictures and updates coming in. It makes it all worth the while! God bless all you kind people whether you re-homed a pony from us or not! Keep warm! Keep cheerful! :) ###

THINKING OF YOU BAMBI
REWARD OFFERED!
This little sweet heart & her mum were stolen from the rescue over ten years ago. Broke our hearts. Police & the RSPCA found her dam & a few other ponies abandoned wandering the streets near Meadow View travellers site, Dragons Lane, Elworth, Sandbach, Crew. As one was very abused with broken jaw etc and she was stolen no one would own up to them as prosecution would have been certain.
The RSPCA said Bambi had been spotted with them but despite much searching she was sadly never found. Should anyone live in or near Elworth or Crew could you please look out for her. There is a reward for information leading to her being found.
She would now be a grown piebald mare probably about 12hh - if they have not bred her or neglected her to death.
Likely had loads of foals but markings should still be very distinct.
If she is in a good home we will be happy for her - just please let us know for peace of mind as we love her dearly.
She was really premature and had it not been for our lovely vets -especially Vikki Fowler - and my kids picking up in their arms each day to inject & feed her her medicine she would likely never have made it. We got such a bond with her.

. HAPPY NEW YEAR
& ALL the BEST to YOU & YOURS in the YEAR AHEAD!
Once you have all recovered from Christmas & Co and twiddling your fingers wondering what to do with yourself (as if!) we have a few cute, tame, well trained, well-handled & all up to date colts including Benny, Cooper & Cookie looking for kind homes.
(When ready will need gelded but can advise.)
Re-homing fee £450 each as seen.
We are also working with some yearling fillies including Blessing (if people remember her) and a couple of small lead rein/therapy pony projects old enough to be backed.
Re-homing fees will vary depending on the pony.
We can not re-home over Facebook so, please, look out for their adverts on Preloved.
Person must of course be kind, a good match, able to afford the pony & have a suitable place/paddock to keep the pony or ponies. Thanks to the lovely people who have already re-homed some of our rescue ponies or ponies from other rescue centres who are enjoying them & doing a great job looking after them.

. ***MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR! ***
Amidst all the celebrations, eating & partying please, remember to see to your horses. It's all very well with the Santa photos but they like to eat, have a nice warm bed & be able to run around & have some fun with their friends. too
From what I have seen & heard over the years so many horses will be standing hungry in deep muck sometimes for days whilst their selfish owners are partying away or struggling to get to the farm. Other liveries just walking by pointing the finger either banned from, too scared to or too cruel to help the horse. The sometimes hardened or busy yard manager not caring to say or to do anything either as long as they keep the peace & get their rent each week.
Bless you if you are not like that & will do your best to help those owners & horses - be that giving the owner a lift, asking if they want you to see to their horse or at least kindly putting in some hay & water for the horse. No horse should suffer especially not in the name of Christmas!
Have a great time celebrating with your ponies not away from them. Remember Jesus spent birthday in a stable not living it up, indulging & revelling. Hence probably the best place for us to be if we truly want to look back on His birth & consider the true meaning of it.

BENNY
ANYONE LOOKING for a NICE SIZED, GOOD NATURED, TAME & EASY approx. 6 mths old, PET/COMPANION FOAL (WELSH RESCUE C**T) maybe future THERAPY PONY or LEAD REIN PROJECT?
If so, this is BENNY & he is looking for suitable kind home/family.
His re-homing fee is £450 as seen - not for profit. 🐎
Full ownership, passport & signed receipt given.😀
Been through isolation & no sign of sickness.🐎
Microchipped, passported, wormed & feet trimmed every 6 weeks.
Can soon start vaccinations & will, when old enough, need gelded.
Easy to catch, put head collar on & lead around at times noisy farm.
Been great being walked in the woods & on the very busy roads.
Confident & happy to follow or lead the walks out on the roads etc.
Very patient when tied up, super to pick all four feet & likes kids.
Good to brush, rug up or dress up - if Santa need's a helper!
Delightful to be around & a real charmer for vet & farrier.🥰

LOVELY PAIR of GOOD NATURED GELDED RESCUE PONIES -
QUICK & EASY CHILD'S LEAD REIN &/or RIDING PONY PROJECTS.
RE-HOMING FEE ONLY £900 EACH AS SEEN as NOT FOR PROFIT.
All up to date, used to tack, begun backing & been amazing.
Both got 'EXCELLENT' from vet, farrier & dentist from first go.
Good natured & never tried to bite or kick.
KAISER is about 5 & approx. 11.2hh with lovely flaxen mane.
JASPER is about 6 & approx. 11hh with unique silvery blond mane.
Happy together or apart & both happy to live in or out.
Generally Kaiser is more confident/ahead of his brother.
Used to being called, lead, tied up, brushed, washed & pleated.
Fine to pick all four feet, be wormed, jabbed & rugged up.
Been good to tack up, weights on, lean over, lunge & long rein.
Still to see more but don't expect backing will take long.
Both gelded, wormed, microchipped & passported.
Had feet, teeth, Flue & Tetanus vaccinations done.
Been here through isolation/checks with no sign of sickness.
Nor laminitis, asthma, sweet itch, Cushings, lumps or bumps etc.
Been fine with other colt/stallions/geldings next to mares.
Were neglected but NOT abused nor hand fed/spoiled with treats.
Some stifle lock but going & does not stop them being ridden.
In fact vet recommends uphill walks/rides to sort it.
Stifle lock appears gone in Jasper & mild in Kaiser (best to check).
Open to viewing & independent vetting.
We can NOT re-home over Facebook or unseen, only in person.
Happy to arrange a no obligation viewing. Just message.

Dexter (now gelded) & little filly friend have gone to their new home as pets/therapy pony projects to be used for children/young people with autism - a cause close to our hearts.
It's exciting & we look forward to all the up-dates. :)
Thanks to all who shared his post. Also to those who left kind encouraging comments & messages. All much appreciated. :)
