⚠️ ⚠️ 📢 Dedicated noise service is being reduced. From August 1 2026, the noise nuisance service will run on the days when demand is most concentrated - overnight from Wednesday to Sunday, with operating hours remaining 6.00pm to 4.00am (the team returns to base at 3.30am). Additional coverage will continue to be provided during key periods in the academic year including Welcome Week, Halloween and Varsity, regardless of what day of the week they fall on.
On the days when the noise witnessing service is closed, residents will be able to report noise to the Leeds Anti-Social Behaviour Team.
The DNS will continue to focus exclusively on noise in inner north west Leeds and, when not responding to calls, will undertake targeted patrols to help deter noise, other antisocial behaviour and respond proactively to noise witnessed.
Reporting noise concerns:
Residents will continue to be able to report noise concerns through the Dedicated Service reporting line overnight on Wednesday to Sunday morning. Outside of these hours and days, reports can still be made through the council's existing reporting channels for all Leeds residents, and will be managed through the Anti-Social Behaviour Triage Service, ensuring concerns continue to be assessed and directed appropriately.
Report noise nuisance or anti-social behaviour:
For an urgent response (Wednesday 6.00pm-Sunday 3.30am plus key dates like Welcome Week) - call 0113 376 0337
