bibic is recruiting an HR Trustee.

We are a national children’s charity, supporting neurodivergent children, young people and families through developmental therapy for more than 50 years. As we enter a new phase, we want senior HR and people expertise on our board to help us look after our most important asset, our people.

This is a voluntary, non-executive role, strategic and advisory, focused on people strategy, culture, employment practice and organisational change. Prior trustee experience is not essential, and full induction is provided. The board meets six times a year, mostly online.

If you are an experienced HR or people professional motivated by social impact, we would love to hear from you. Comment or message us for the recruitment pack, and please share with your network.

It's now just under one month until our 10-year anniversary Casino Night! 🎉

Think tuxedos, gambling tables, and martinis, mixed with delicious wood-fired pizza, a ‘saxy’ disco, and, of course, sweet treats from our besties at Dough Bros.! 🎲🍸🍩

Please email [email protected] to secure your tickets and help us support six fantastic local charities! ❤️

We're delighted to announce our final sponsor of the evening: our friends at Ballantine Wealth Management, who will be sponsoring our fourth Casino table. Leighton and the team provide a wide range of services, whether you are looking to build, grow, protect or preserve your wealth.

Keep your eyes peeled, as we'll shortly be announcing the incredible silent auction items, including a designer handbag, hospitality tickets for a Premier League game, and VIP tickets to a festival and concert! 👀

Today we welcomed David Holdsworth, and Stuart Wood from the Charity Commission into our National Therapy Centre

It was a wonderful opportunity for us to show them around the centre and talk to them about why we exist and the families we support.

Thank you both so much for coming to visit us and having such valuable conversations on the sector, difficulties small charities face and the work that the Charity Commission is doing to try and ease some of these barriers.

Some weeks feel fuller, louder or harder to navigate than others, especially when you or someone in your family is neurodivergent or has additional needs.

These are a few gentle reminders to come back to this week.

At bibic, we help children, young people, adults and families better understand individual needs, recognise strengths and find practical strategies that can make everyday life feel more manageable.

Save this for later, or share it with someone who might need one of these reminders today.

A massive thank you to Mike for his incredible support of bibic! 💚

Mike took on The Nightshift Ultra an incredible 80km challenge to complete within 12 hours.

He managed an amazing 28 miles in 5 hours and 7 minutes before an injury meant he had to stop.

We’re so grateful for Mike’s determination, commitment and for taking on such a tough challenge to support bibic. He also raised a fantastic £700! 🎉

Thank you, Mike we hope you have a speedy recovery, and we’re so grateful to have your support. 💚
