Join us on Thursday 29th October for the legendary Scary Walk at Drayton Woods
If your young person hasn't been before: Create a character & den to be part of a scary trail through the wood.
Parents invited at dusk to walk the trail, if they dare! Hot chocolate, hot dogs and hot marshmallows available for survivors. (veggie options available).

The kids get dropped off at 2pm and prepare for the parents to arrive at 6. They can either dedicate their afternoon to an elaborate and creative scenario, working hard to terrify their loved ones; or they can goof around for a few hours and cobble something together in the last 5 minutes. It's fun all round regardless.

Salvete, patres feroces!

After missing out on Wild Dads last month, we now have a brand new baby born of the woods and we're looking forward to welcoming the Dads into our lovely space again for a morning of fun.
So next Saturday (26th) we’re back to our usual selves for some burly bushcraft, goofy games, and big ol’ bacon or vegan sausage sandwiches.

There’s a little bit of woodland maintenance that needs to happen, so I thought it might be fun if we felled a tree together (for safety reasons). Chainsaw ticket not required 🪓 .

Oh dear, our first Friday back and I missed the chance to photograph the fun again.

Last week we saw the return of the Friday Forest Club! We love the holiday bushcraft events, but our weekly sessions can totally encapsulate the Forest School principles by being frequent and long-term.

We run the FFC until October half-term, with a hearty fire-cooked supper included and an inclusive pricing structure available, it begs the question: why are you missing out?
