Thank you so much to everyone who attended our fabulous series of healthy eating workshops. Attendees learnt how to cook tasty, healthy meals in a slow cooker and got to take their slow cooker and recipe cards home.

Thank you to LiveWest Wessex Water and Morland Community Hub for partnering with us.

Here’s how you can get involved and make a real difference:

➡️ Make a donation
A one off or regular donation helps us create more opportunities for young people to re-engage with education and move towards brighter futures. Regular donations give us stability, allowing us to plan ahead and support more families across our community.

➡️ Volunteer with us
If you can spare a few hours on a regular basis, you could become part of our dedicated volunteer team. Our work simply would not be possible without the time, care and commitment of volunteers who believe in what we do.

➡️ Partner with us
We are always open to meaningful partnerships. Whether you are an individual with specialist skills, a local business wanting to support a charity, or another organisation looking to collaborate, working together allows us to reach more young people and strengthen the support we offer.

➡️ Every contribution matters.
Every hour, every conversation, every penny.

If you would like to play a part in supporting young people in our community, we would love to hear from you.

Education Support Services works alongside schools to support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping individuals move forward with confidence and purpose.

Our SEMH behaviour and intervention programmes are designed to support positive change and, where appropriate, successful reintegration back into mainstream education or a work placement. Support is tailored around the young person, delivered flexibly and shaped by what will genuinely help them engage, learn and thrive.

Programmes can include one to one mentoring, in school support, targeted learning in Maths and English, vocational pathways, emotional wellbeing work and practical help to understand and remove barriers to learning. Delivery can take place in school, through alternative mentoring or at a local ESS centre, working alongside schools on a part time basis.

Every package is bespoke and can include transport, activities, meetings related to the student and access to lunch arrangements. Our six week programmes are designed to be flexible, recognising that no two young people or settings are the same.

If you are looking for thoughtful, practical SEMH support that puts the young person first, look no further, contact a member of the ESS team today.

Meet Sue, our lovely yoga teacher for the Youth Café programme starting soon.

Sue: "I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and trained to be a yoga instructor 4 years ago. I find yoga gives me strength and resilience both physically and mentally. Flexibility improves and with it comes the mind and body connection particularly during yoga practice where focus on breathing is so important."

Our Youth Café sessions are designed especially for beginners. So no experience needed. Just comfortable clothes and a willingness to give it a go!

Yoga is one part of our free 6 week Youth Café programme, which also includes mindfulness and a relaxed, healthy shared supper. The sessions are friendly, gender inclusive and suitable for young people aged twelve years and over.

Why beginner yoga can be so helpful for teenagers 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

Teen years can feel loud, busy and overwhelming. Yoga offers something different.
A chance to slow down.
To move gently.
To breathe.
And to notice how their body feels, without pressure or expectation.

For teens, gentle yoga can help with:
✅ releasing built up stress and tension
✅ improving focus and body awareness
✅ building confidence in a calm, non competitive way
✅ supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing

Our Youth Café sessions are designed especially for beginners. No experience needed. Just comfortable clothes and a willingness to give it a go.
