Scrap paper...it's a resource that we certainly don't run out of at Colourplay!!
But it often gets overlooked in favour of some of our more shiny materials!
Reducing waste has always been important to me and is something which I carry with me into everything I do, at home and in the Colour room. I hate to throw out what I see as perfectly good resources! Paper once painted, CAN'T be industrially recycled, and there is only so much we can hold onto here (that storage cupboard is always pretty full!) So I often put scrap paper and abandoned artworks back out into the resource trays to be reused and reworked into new masterpieces.

This week, I thought I would have a play myself, both to use up some of the backlog, and to hopefully spark some ideas!!

🐣✨ Easter at ColourPlay - here's everything you need to know!
We're kicking off the Easter holidays with some seriously colourful fun! Here's when you can find us:

🎨 Good Friday, 3rd April - open as normal, 10am–2pm. Yes, we're here! Come get creative.
🎨 Saturday, 4th April - 10am–6pm. Plenty of time to play!
🎨 Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th April - open daily, 10am–2pm. Bring the kids, bring the creativity, bring the mess!

We're taking a well-deserved rest 🌸 - we'll be closed from Sunday 5th to Monday 13th April while Feona enjoys some time with her family and friends. She absolutely deserves it! 💛

📌 FreeFlow will be taking a little break too - we won't be running sessions on Wednesday 8th or Wednesday 15th April.

We can't wait to see your bright, brilliant faces across the Easter break. Tag a friend who needs a creative escape! 🌈
