Today, some of our staff and volunteers took part in a training session with Social Security Scotland to learn more about the Five Family Payments.

The session provided valuable information on the support available to families across Scotland, helping us ensure we can continue to offer up-to-date advice and guidance to those who need it.

The Five Family Payments can help with the costs of raising a family if you receive Universal Credit, tax credits or other qualifying benefits. They include:

πŸ‘Ά Best Start Grant – three payments at key stages of your child's early years

πŸ₯• Best Start Foods - a pre-paid card topped up with money to spend on healthy food while you are pregnant or have a young child

πŸ’· Scottish Child Payment - over Β£100 every four weeks until your child turns 16
