Fancy being in a film? No experience needed, honestly.

We're putting together something special at GRACE and we'd love you to be part of it. Our Shared Lived Experiences project is looking for film crew and actors, and the best bit is you don't need to know what you're doing. No experience required, no lines to memorise, nothing to prepare. You just turn up and we take it from there.

It's a proper wee production. A real camera, a real crew, and a lovely bunch of people who've all been through something and are building something new together. You'll learn as you go, because that's exactly the point.

We meet Mondays, 10am until 2pm.

Getting in is easy. If you're already a member, join the WhatsApp group in the GRACE Community. If you're not yet, just email us and we'll get you sorted:

Honestly, we run all sorts here. Yoga for total beginners. Art classes where everything is provided. A digital cafe if you want to get more confident on your phone or laptop. Knitting and crochet. Table tennis. Guided walks round Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch. Cards and dominoes on a Thursday night. And you can just pop in for a cuppa and a chat, no pressure at all.

It's all free, it's all open to anyone 18 and over who's been through something, whether that's addiction, mental health, homelessness, grief or just feeling a bit alone. Nobody judges you. You don't have to be "good" at anything or commit to anything.

Most sessions are drop in, so you can just show up when you're ready. If you're not sure where to start, send us a wee email and we'll point you in the right direction.

All the days and times are on the What's On page:

Come as you are. We'll meet you there. 💙

Sometimes life comes down to a single phone call.

Robert was standing at the edge of a canal, ready to end everything after years of addiction, trauma, and homelessness. Then his phone rang. A pastor asked him to try recovery one last time.

That single decision changed his life. But Robert realised something critical: getting sober is only half the battle. Surviving what comes after is the hardest part.

So he created GRACE, a sanctuary in East Dunbartonshire where people healing from addiction, trauma, and isolation can rebuild their lives through peer support, creative groups, and real connection.

Now, instead of losing his life, he gets to watch others reclaim theirs every day. It is such an inspiring reminder of what happens when we refuse to give up on people.

Everyone at G.R.A.C.E. is so proud of Robert and how far we have come.

His story is a reminder that no matter how low life gets, there is always a way out with the right support in place, and that is exactly what we are here to do.
