We’re proud to introduce Menna, the latest Azaylia PhD Scholar, based at the University of Birmingham 🎓 and supported through a special collaboration between The Azaylia Foundation, Birmingham University and Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital Charity 🧡

Thanks to this funding, Menna is carrying out life-changing research focused on Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), with the goal of improving outcomes for children battling this devastating disease 🧡

AML is especially close to our hearts, as it was the type of leukaemia that Azaylia bravely fought. Through pioneering research, we hope to help create a future where more children and families have access to better treatments, greater hope, and improved chances of survival 🧡🦁

We are so honoured to have partnered with the and to bring JoyJars to children in hospitals all around the UK 🧡

Earlier this month, our CEO visited The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to deliver the very first batch, and seeing all their little faces light up was something truly special 🥹

This is just the beginning, and we’re so grateful to be able to spread a little more light and happiness to children who need it most 🦁✨

100 a day in May 💪

Every single day in May, 100 of anything physical. Squats. Skips. Star jumps. A kitchen dance party at 7am. Whatever gets you and yours moving. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be pretty. It just has to be 100 🫡
Every rep you do raises money for children with cancer and their families. Making a difference, one rep at a time.

From pain to purpose 🧡🩷

At the heart of everything we do is love, the love a parent has for their child, and the instinct to protect others when you know what families are facing 🦁

Childhood cancer is considered rare, which means many children are diagnosed late, leaving families suddenly in a race against time with fewer options.

That’s why The Azaylia Foundation exists, to fund research, support families and help children access treatments that aren’t always available through the NHS.

There’s still time to take part in Azaylia’s £1 Challenge. £1 alone may feel small, but together it becomes incredibly powerful. Your £1 could help save a child’s life.

Drop a 🧡 and we’ll DM you the link to donate

Azaylia’s Friends is for families who have been affected by childhood cancer and want their child’s story to keep making a difference.

Through research funding chosen by the family, their child’s legacy helps push childhood cancer research forward, giving other children a better chance 🧡

Because together, we are stronger 🧡🦁
