🌟 Roald Dahl Inspired Adventures with Presteigne Brownies! 🌟

We kicked off the new term with an evening full of creativity and teamwork, all inspired by the magical world of Roald Dahl.

Our Brownies began by designing their very own magical gardens, each filled with imagination and wonder. A special thank you to Sally, one of our wonderful Unit Helpers, who drew her own Magical Garden to inspire the girls – the Door of Discovery (a door that could transport you anywhere!) was definitely a highlight! 🌿🎨

Next, we tackled a teamwork challenge: blindfolded and listening to a Roald Dahl action story. The girls did brilliantly, working together and having so much fun – some even asked if they could complete the whole meeting blindfolded! 😄

We also made "floating gardens," inspired by James and the Giant Peach, with water, seeds, and cotton wool. The Brownies can't wait to see what sprouts from their mini creations. Any guesses? 🌱

Finally, some of our Brownies joined the Rainbows for a lively game of Hot Potato, led by our fantastic Rainbow Helpers (Guides who assist at our meetings), while others helped prepare Edible Sparklers for snack time. A delicious end to a fun-filled evening! 🍫✨

🕵️‍♀️ Solving Mysteries and Creating Memories at 2nd Presteigne Brownies! 🧩

Our Brownies recently put their detective hats on for "The Great Sweet Heist," an exciting evening where they worked together to solve a mystery, learning about facts, opinions, and speculation along the way. The teamwork and critical thinking on display were amazing, and it’s clear they had a blast!

Our Brownies are super excited to be working towards their Communicate badge! They are learning all about the power of words and how to create a warm and inviting environment for others.

They had so much fun the other week experimenting with different emotions while saying phrases like "Congratulations" and "Happy Birthday". They even got to flex their creative muscles by using dramatic body language to express themselves. And to top it all off, they are getting ready for a cinema trip to see Inside Out 2!

The Brownies are buzzing with excitement as they eagerly anticipate their upcoming jam-packed day, filled with two thrilling events: the long-awaited screening of Inside Out 2 and an adventurous trip to Pentre Farm.
