A modern, clean, large and well equipped village hall. A perfect hire venue located just off M40 J10

The current village hall was opened by Lord Michael Heseltine as Kings Sutton Memorial Hall in 2001, after receiving a grant from the Millennium Commission and fundraising by a dedicated group of villagers. The first hall was opened in 1961 in memory of the residents of the village that were killed in the World Wars. The Hall is a charity and is managed by a committee of Trustees, some of whom are elected annually and others who are nominated by a number of village organisations who regularly use the building. The officers are Bob Burrell (Chairman), Ann Morton (Hon Secretary) and Anne Martis (Hon Treasurer). Bookings and day-to-day matters are looked after by our Hall Manager, Lindsay Walker.

Mums & Tots – Tuesdays at the Hall

Mums & Tots meets every Tuesday morning at Kings Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall from 10.00am to 11.30am.

Parents and carers can enjoy a cuppa and a chat while the little ones explore a range of toys, play and make new friends. Children from birth to 5 years are welcome, and it costs just £2.50 per family.

Oxford Kendo – Fridays at Kings Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall

Did you know that Oxford Kendo holds a weekly martial arts class here at the hall?

Kendo is the Japanese martial art of swordsmanship, and Oxford Kendo welcomes anyone interested in learning and practising the sport.

Sessions take place every Friday at 7.30pm.

A new community initiative is coming to Kings Sutton this summer.

School holidays can be wonderful—but they can also be challenging for many families.

That's why local resident Vanessa has launched Village Family Meetup – a relaxed, welcoming space where families can spend time together, make new connections, and let children play in ways that suit them.

Designed with neurodivergent families in mind, but open to everyone, these sessions are all about creating an inclusive, low-pressure environment where families can simply be themselves.

Come along to:
• Meet other local families
• Enjoy a slower-paced morning together
• Let children play and explore in their own way
• Bring along the things your family loves – Lego, books, crafts, Minecraft, trains, games, drawing, or anything that sparks conversation and connection.

Where: Kings Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall
When: Every Tuesday during the school holidays
Time: 10:00am–12:00pm
Cost: Free to attend (optional £2 donation towards refreshments)

This isn't a class or a club—it's simply a chance for families to connect, play and belong.

Our new website is now live.

Over the past few months we've been working on updating the website to make it easier to find information about Kings Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall and everything that takes place here.

King’s Sutton Millennium Memorial Hall and Health Centre will be holding its Annual General Meeting this Monday 28th April 2025 at 7.30pm in the Small Hall.

The Hall and Health Centre is a charity (No. 304212) and everyone who lives in the village is invited to come to the AGM to find out how the Trustees have been managing this valuable community facility for King's Sutton. We look forward to seeing you there.

Important Notice

We are so grateful for the terrific response we have had to the call for a volunteer trustee/Treasurer. A total of eleven people have now expressed an interest in taking on the role - not only from the village but also from Brackley, Adderbury and Wardington. From this number we have now identified a resident from King's Sutton who will be assuming the role at the Hall's Annual General Meeting in April. This means that the trustees no longer have to consider closing the Hall.

We hope this news is very much welcomed by all our supporters. Thank you to everyone who took an interest and reached out.

We are still looking for volunteer trustees with experience working with the Wordpress website management system who would willing to oversee the development of the Hall's website. Anyone interested in finding out more about this role is asked to contact the Chairman of Trustees in the first instance.
