Good evening Banbury, some of you will know that my mum went through cancer, others may not, the care and support we had from Macmillan Cancer Support was amazing. So much so that I want to continue to give back to them so others can get the same care we did.

So on that note in just under 4 WEEKS..

I will be raising money by running the Brighton Marathon 2024 on April 7th, is a 26.2 mile route from city to coast past the iconic sites of Brighton and Hove. My mum went through cancer and at the last check was clear following succesful operations to remove it all. praying it does not return, The Macmillan Cancer support nurses were invaluable, the support they gave us was phenomenal and i just want to give back so others that were in mine and mums position recieve the great care we did.

My target is £500 pounds but if we could exceed that it would be awesome. So if you have a few ££'s to spare we would love it to go towards this cause.

Just a reminder that the Covid booster rollout starts today. If you are residents or staff in care homes, aged 65 or over,aged 6-64 in a clinical risk group, are a front line health and social care worker or an unpaid carer aged 16-64 or a contact of someone immunosuppressed aged between 12 -64 you are eligible from today. This is an important message to share..

As you all know I am trying to raise as much as I can for Macmillan Cancer Support thanks to the wonderful care me and mum recieved from their wonderful nurses. I started my marathon training properly on Monday just gone, you should see me out and about in Banbury running in my Macmillan top over the next few months. (It's Green and white)

If you or anyone you know has been affected by cancer please give what you can so others are able to recieve the support that we did.

So it's not often that i post about my wonderful mother Anita Hampton but I want to celebrate that at her most recent cancer check up she is ALL CLEAR again. Thrilled is an understatement !!

Fingers crossed for the next one in January 🤞🤞❤️❤️

So I found this post from April 2020 i wrote just after dad died, I have tears while I am writing this 😭😭😭
Dad and mum when I go to get my medal on Thursday it is all for you . I always said it was and I bloody meant it❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

If anyone would like to toast my achievements I will be in the Chatsworth on Saturday between 2pm-7pm for a few beers and to share stories and also at the Horse and Jockey Bodicote on Sunday from 6pm till closing.
