CAWNAC - Annual Conference 2026

This year’s CAWNAC Annual Conference, “Transforming Together,” brought staff, volunteers, trustees and invited guests together to reflect on our achievements, share ideas, and shape the future of our services.

The conference focused on three key priorities that will guide our work in the years ahead:

1. Provide Advice for the Future

As communities face changing challenges, we must continue to evolve our services to meet emerging needs. By embracing innovation, developing new skills, and adapting our advice delivery methods, we can ensure that people continue to receive high-quality, accessible support when they need it most.

2. Close the Gap

We are committed to reducing inequalities and ensuring that everyone can access the help and advice they need. Through stronger partnerships, inclusive services, and targeted outreach, we aim to reach those who are currently underserved and remove barriers that prevent people from seeking support.

3. Take Early Action

Early intervention can make a significant difference in people’s lives. By identifying issues sooner and providing timely support, we can help prevent problems from escalating, improve outcomes for clients, and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Throughout the day, delegates engaged in meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and explored practical ways to turn these priorities into action. The conference highlighted the collective strength of our network and reinforced our shared commitment to creating positive change.

Together, we are building a future where advice is accessible, communities are empowered, and no one is left behind.

Transforming Together is more than a theme it is our commitment to working collaboratively, acting proactively, and delivering lasting impact for the people and communities we serve.
