BYHP Unlocking Potential

BYHP Unlocking Potential BYHP has funding to deliver ‘Unlocking Potential’, which helps young people to move into employment, education, training or volunteering opportunities

Young people aged 16-25 take part in a five week course. This is made up of five accredited AQA units and a Level 2 award in Food and Safety in Catering. The course is designed to assist the young people identify personal goals, and to acquire life and work related skills. The young people receive training on Customer Service Skills with Lloyds Bank and also managing finances with the help of Barc

lays Bank. We help young people with CV writing in conjunction with NCV, plus develop interview techniques by performing mock interviews with members from the Banbury Rotary Club. Following completion of the in-house training, the Young People are assisted to progress by helping them find employment, return to education or gain additional training or volunteering. Often, the volunteering and work opportunities are sourced through our contacts and local businesses. We work in close partnership with the Job Centre and NEET-EET services. In addition, each candidate will receive certificates for each successfully completed module.
