It has come to our attention that littering and broken glass have been found in the children's new play park. We urge all park users to ensure they clean up after themselves and dispose of rubbish in the provided bins, including the newly installed, larger bins. The presence of broken glass is unacceptable in a children's play area. It poses a significant safety hazard and will not be tolerated. We are arranging for immediate cleanup. We ask that everyone consider the impact of their actions on other users of this community park. We invested significant effort into creating this play park and expect all members of the community to respect and maintain it. Thank you for your cooperation. 🙏🏻

A massive thank you to whoever kindly cleaned the play equipment! It was absolutely caked in mud, clearly done deliberately. I was planning to tackle it myself, but today I was so pleased to see it already sparkling clean. I really appreciate your help! Let's all show some respect for our new playpark and keep it clean for everyone to enjoy. Please, no more covering it in wet mud so others can't use it.

Not playing park related but we would love the support of the village, if anyone gets the EDP newspaper, could the school please have these vouchers so we can try and win this for our village school. If you have any, we would be happy to collect them.

Hey everyone!

Just a quick heads-up about the new play equipment: we've spotted a few eager beavers hopping over the safety barriers to give it a go. We totally get the excitement – it's looking awesome, right? But it's super important to wait just a little bit longer until everything is officially signed off and those barriers come down. Your safety is our top priority!

We're working hard to get the park open ASAP because we know you're all excited to start playing. We're planning a grand opening on December 13th, and we'd love for you to join us (more details to come!). But here's a little secret: if all goes well, we're hoping to open the park even before then, as soon as we get the green light that it's 100% safe.

Thanks so much for your patience. We promise to shout it from the rooftops on this page the moment the park is ready for you to enjoy!

Great news – the new park is officially under construction! You've probably already noticed the activity, which is super exciting.

To help the work stay on schedule, please avoid the field behind the memorial hall. We'll keep you updated on all the progress.

The grand opening is set for December 21st, and I'll share all the details soon.

Great News! New Play Park Coming Soon!

We're thrilled to announce that construction on our new play park will begin at the end of October and should take 3-4 weeks to complete, weather permitting!

We're working hard to make this happen and will be hosting a grand opening event. Stay tuned for the date and more details!
