Clenchwarton Park Area Regeneration

09/10/2024

The recycling initiative seems to be working Clenchwarton but I think we can do better.

Please recycle your plastic bottles and cans wherever you see one of these recycling bins in the Jubilee Garden and Play Area.

Let us know where you think we can put another one.

Thank you

🌟Exciting News! 🌟

Big smiles and high-fives all around because our Jubilee Garden and play area just got an eco-friendly makeover! Thanks to the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk's Community Infrastructure Levy, we've welcomed brand new general waste and recycling bins to our little haven. 🗑️♻️

But wait, there's more good news rolling in! Alongside our shiny new bins, we're gearing up to install two bicycle racks soon – making it easier than ever to pedal over and enjoy the greenery. 🚲💨

Why all the fuss? Well, recycling isn't just about sorting trash; it's our superpower in the fight against waste and pollution. ♻️🌍 So, next time you swing by, toss your waste in the right bin and give our planet a virtual high-five! Let's keep the good vibes going and the environment smiling! 🌱✨

The CPAR team have today added two new wheelchair-accessible picnic benches to the playing field - one by the pavilion and one by the far side of the play area. We will also be installing more seating, two recycling bins and two bicycle racks in the near future.

These purchases have been made possible due to funding from the Borough Council's Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) scheme.
