A massive well done to our club member Vincent McConville who took part in yesterday’s Mourne Sky Ultra . This was a 50k /31mile undulating mountain route that tours the Mourne mountains with approximately3500m to 3600+ m of total elevation gain
Vincey completed the run in 9 hours and 47 seconds coming in first male in the 50-54 category and 21st male home overall . This was an amazing performance and the club is so proud of him.Congratulations seems just too small a word for such an accomplishment. fans @ sky runs the mournes

What a great afternoon at KCRC’s Back to School duck race. The sun shone and the 400 ducks battled their way down the harbour to the finish line. Congratulations to the first , second and last place ducks who won the prizes and to all who won raffle prizes. Last competitive race of the season
Islandmagee 10 mile challenge from Browns Bay to Whitehead
Both of our boats took part. Congratulations to the mixed crew in Skart getting gold in a time of 1 hour 37 minutes and 6 seconds Gocean consisting of one male adult one female adult and two junior males finished 4 skiff overall ( second in the male category) in a time of 1 hour 40 minutes and 38 seconds Just amazing.
Congratulations to Kilclief all male crew who finished in 1 hour 28 minutes and 32 seconds

DONAGHADEE CRC COPELAND ISLAND 10K CHALLENGE SATURDAY 29/8/2026
The conditions were perfect. The competition was fierce. Killyleagh had both boats competing and two members rowing in the Donaghadee skiff. KCRC Skart came home in first place in 1 hour 12 minutes and 14 seconds Followed by Dundrum’s Danny Boy in 1 hour 12 minutes and 45 seconds

Thank you to Stranraer Coastal rowing club for the invite to take part in your regatta last Saturday. Your hospitality and enthusiasm for the day were outstanding.
To our own club members congratulations on all the medals winners and the achievement of overall winners of the whole day. Killyleagh Coastal Rowing Club is holding a **Junior Taster Day** – the perfect opportunity for young people to experience the excitement of coastal rowing in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

Whether you've never picked up an oar before or simply want to give a new sport a try, everyone is welcome.

✅ Open to beginners
✅ Safe, coached session
✅ A great way to build confidence, make new friends and enjoy being out on the water
