Hi folks,
On behalf of the Knights of St Columbanus, Downpatrick CK12, I’d like to extend a special invitation to the Friends of Ward 15, Downpatrick, along with staff, former patients and anyone connected with the service, to our upcoming screening of Matt Talbot: Urban Mystic.
📅 Friday 4th September
🕖 7.00pm
📍 Newcastle Community Cinema, St Mary’s Hall, Main Street, Newcastle
Matt Talbot’s story is particularly relevant to the work of Ward 15. He struggled for many years with alcohol addiction before beginning a remarkable journey of recovery, faith and transformation. His life continues to offer a message of hope, perseverance and the possibility of a new beginning to those affected by addiction and to the people who support them.
We will also be joined by Michael Murphy, Vice-Postulator for the Cause of Venerable Matt Talbot, who will speak and take part in a Q&A following the film.
Admission is free, with tea and coffee served. There will be an opportunity to make a voluntary donation for anyone who wishes to do so.
We would be delighted to welcome members of the Friends of Ward 15 and please feel free to share the invitation with anyone you feel may benefit from or be interested in Matt’s story.
Everyone is very welcome.
