Presence - cross community group PresenCE is a Cross Community group comprised of individuals from all 4 Christian Churches in Portaferry.

Does the arrival of the Christmas catalogues and adverts delight you or horrify you? Take a deep breath and get some context. “You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.”(Eph 2:8). 🕊🙏💕

In a world that celebrates “survival of the fittest” God’s demands for justice jar …. “Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free and remove the chains that bind people. Share your food with the hungry and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them and do not hide from relatives who need your help.” (Is.58:6-7). Ouch! 🕊🙏💕
