Three wins out of four Geddington CC Matches in the NCL on Saturday, to start the final month of the 2026 season.
An unbeaten century from Captain Jack Parker (102* off 93 balls) guided 1st XI to an impressive 6 wicket win away against Peterborough Town 1st XI in the Premier Division, Matt Taylor (73) also scored a half-century, Andy Reynoldson (39) was also the other main run-scorer. Earlier, Gurveer Singh took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, this win moves the 1st XI into 2nd place, in the Premier Division table.
Ben Cox (89* off 63 balls) scored an unbeaten half-century for the 3rd XI in their 8 wicket win away against Rothwell Town 2nd XI, in Division 10. Earlier, Ashlee Wardle was in brilliant form with the ball for Geddington by taking five wickets, Matt Johns also took three wickets, and one each for James Raubenheimer and Marley Smith.
Peter Edwards took five wickets with the ball for 4th XI in their 5 wicket win to continue their brilliant form, away against Barton Seagrave 2nd XI in Division 12 North, Finlay Richardson and Hayden Edwards both took two wickets each for Geddington, and there was one for Charlie Audis. In reply, Julian Martin top-scored with an unbeaten 46 to guide Geddington to their victory target.
And finally, Defeat for 2nd XI in their home match against Towcestrians 1st XI, by 3 wickets in Division 6. Marc Bell (61*) top-scored with an unbeaten half-century, Thomas Holmes (32), Ned Wilson (31) and Bradley Armer (26) were the other main run-scorers with bat for Geddington. In reply, Armer, Rio Hayes and Elliot Ironmonger all took two wickets each with ball for the home side.
