Another great weekend of cricket for our Geddington Cricket Club Saturday Teams, with three wins out of four matches that took place in the Northants Cricket League.

1st XI chase down 243 to win on the penultimate ball against Oundle Town at Geddington on Saturday. Jack Lees (75) and Jack Bates (64) both scored half-centuries with the bat. Earlier George Darlow was pick of the Geddington bowlers with two wickets.

2nd XI won by 102 runs, away against Finedon Dolben 3rd XI, at Colworth House Sports & Social Club. Tiaan Raubenheimer (43) top-scored with bat, before Bradley Armer took four wickets with the ball for Geddington.

An unbeaten 45 with bat from Ben Templeman guided the 3rd XI to a 5 wicket win away against Weekley & Warkton 3rd XI, at Benefield. Earlier, Rio Hayes took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also two each from Dominic Wardle and Matt Johns.

Defeat for 4th XI against Rushton 2nd XI by 4 wickets at Obelisk, Nathan Brown top-scored with 87, before Marley Smith was pick of the Geddington bowlers with three wickets.

Geddington Women's Midweek Team match at home against Northampton Saints, at Geddington on Wednesday Evening was called off due to the weather.

Another busy week of cricket coming up this week for our Geddington CC Teams.

Under-13's, 15's & 17's all have home matches this week, with the Under-11's away on Sunday. Women's Midweek Team are away at Finedon Dolben on Wednesday, in the NCL Midweek League Premier Division.

On Saturday, all four senior teams are in action, 1st XI and 4th XI have away matches, meanwhile the 2nd XI and 3rd XI have home matches at Geddington and Benefield respectively.

It was a busy week of youth action this week, with league and cup action for our Under-13's on Monday and Friday respectively, Under-15's winning away at Desborough on Tuesday in the league, and the Under-11's were in action on Sunday.

Unfortunately Under-17's match away against Burton Latimer Under-17's on Thursday Evening, was called off due to the weather.

A busy Saturday of Cricket we have involving our GCC Teams, and also includes our monthly social party back at Geddington after Saturday's matches.

1st XI are home against Oundle Town 1st XI, at Geddington in the NCL Premier Division, with a 11:00am Start.
