TAKE ON THE ‘WALK FOR REWE’ LMA 10K SPONSORED DOG WALK THIS OCTOBER!

Did you know the average dog owner already clocks up around 27 kilometres a week? That means you and your pup are already more than ready for this challenge! 🐕💥

As part of Walk Your Dog Week, 1st–7th October, we’re challenging you to complete just 10K over the week while raising vital funds for Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue (ADDR).

And the best part? You choose how you do it!
🐾 Spread the 10K across the week
🐾 Complete it over a couple of big walks
🐾 Or grab your walking buddies and make a day of it!

Your dog gets the exercise, you get the steps, and lost dogs get a better chance of being found. ❤️

We’re raising funds towards a new thermal probe for Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue, helping their dedicated volunteers in the search for missing dogs.

A week before you will get the list of ‘Munsters style’ clues for the fun hunt,

We’ll be awarding prizes of Acme dog whistles for some of the funniest photos uploaded to the LMA page with the hunt clues as captions! 😂🐶

Every participant will be emailed a certificate of completion.

🐾 Would you walk for Rewe? 🐾

This October, we’d love for you — and your four-legged friends — to join us for the LMA Sponsored Walk in aid of Rewe and Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue! 🐕❤️

Taking place during Walk Your Dog Week, 1st–7th October, we’re hoping to turn miles into smiles and raise funds towards a new thermal probe to help these amazing volunteers find lost dogs.

There is no central venue - this will be down to individuals to walk, record their kilometres and collect sponsorship. It can be done in one hit or over the course of a week. If people wish to arrange group walks, that’s great too!

Many of you will have heard or read about 18-month-old Large Munsterlander Rewe, who was missing for four long weeks near Banchory, Scotland. During that incredibly difficult time, Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue played a significant role in the search and provided invaluable support to Rewe’s family.

Thankfully, there was the best of endings — Rewe is home, safe and well. 🥰🐾

Now we’d like to give something back.

We’re calling on the Large Munsterlander community — and any other grateful dog lovers — to get behind these incredible volunteers. Let’s get our dogs’ tails wagging, our walking boots on and see just how many miles we can clock up together! 🐕🚶‍♀️🐕‍🦺
