⭐Celebrating our coaches⭐

🏆Our BHS Education Awards are given to coaches who have made the greatest difference to their students and the field of equestrian training.

A previous winner of the CLtH Coach Award was Sue Lynch from the West Midlands. Sue's love, passion and knowledge of horses is immense, and she champions the ethos of BHS and the impact that its training delivers. She brings empathy, kindness, determination and total understanding to each individual’s needs, making everyone realise their self-worth and so giving them all the confidence they need to move forward in life.

Do you know someone who champions equestrian education like Sue? Why not nominate them for a BHS Education Award?

We had a great fun day yesterday at the Staffordshire Police Open Day. We all enjoyed speaking to visitors about our safety messages and gave out loads of Dead Slow car stickers. Thanks to Des from the safety team and volunteers Dee, Kate and Sharon (aka Florrie the horse) for all your support. Florrie even met the police horses and they both agreed she was a bit 'funny looking' 🤣🐴

⭐Spotlighting our approved centres!⭐

🏆Our BHS Approvals Awards include the Approved Centre Award, which is given to the centre that has made the greatest difference to their community and the Changing Lives through Horses Approved Centre Award which goes to an approved CLtH centre who has shown exceptional inspiration, engagement, innovation, and commitment.

One of our previous winners of the CLtH Approved Centre Award was Country Treks, in the West Midlands region.

Under the leadership of Steph Eddies-Davies, Country Treks has helped underprivileged young people from care homes and also individuals with autism, anxiety and physical health issues - alongside those struggling with education and mainstream learning. Country Treks has truly changed their lives, bringing them purpose and enjoyment, and a future to look forward to.

Do you have a local CLtH approved centre that deserves spotlighting? Why not nominate them for one of our Awards?

Join Sandra Hill, Equine Anti-Doping Programme Manager at British Equestrian, as she highlights why clean sport matters. 🐎

Equine anti-doping protects horse welfare, ensuring no substances are used to mask injury or illness, and keeps competition fair for all. ⭐Celebrating those championing equine welfare⭐

🏆Our BHS Welfare Awards are given for excellent service in the cause of equine welfare.

A previous winner was the West Midlands very own Celia Stockdale.

Celia already has a reputation for being very responsive to welfare concerns and not being phased by dealing with difficult owners. She has successfully improved the lives of several of the horses she has been out to see and continues to work with the owners to provide ongoing support and advice. Her work has included four owners needing Friends at the End support.

Do you know someone who champions equine welfare like Celia? Why not nominate them for a BHS Welfare Award?
