🔵⚪️ EX KELSO LADDIES CLUB ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2026🔵⚪️

The Ex-Kelso Laddies Club present an Annual Achievement award to an individual or group of people who, in the opinion of the club, have significantly contributed, achieved or dedicated themselves to duties or services to the benefit and good of Kelso or the people of Kelso and the surrounding area.

Members of the public are encouraged to nominate an individual or group for consideration by the Ex-Laddies Club.

Please provide a detailed account with as much information as possible as to why you feel your nomination would be a worthy candidate for the award.

🔵⚪️ Kelso Laddie Declaration 2026 🔵⚪️

It is our honour to announce this year’s Kelso Laddie Chad Patterson

Chad is 21 years old and is employed as a Groundsman at Kelso Racecourse. He is proudly supported by his mum Laura, her partner Chris, siblings Joel and Paige, dad Barry and big sister Amy.

He will be ably supported by his Right-Hand Man Angus Utterson and his Left-Hand Man Jack Forsyth.

This year's Lady Bussers are Anna Skeldon and Eilidh Kerr from Broomlands Primary School and Millie Maxwell and Beth Tinlin from Edenside Primary School.

This year's anniversary Laddies are Eric Paxton (1976) celebrating is 50th year and Tom Fairley (1966) celebrating his 60th year.

This year's Chairman is Ex Kelso Laddie Andrew Haig (2006) and the Vice Chairman is Gary Cleghorn.

We offer our sincere congratulations to Chad for his year as Kelso Laddie and wish him every success. We hope he and his family and friends have a very special year and we know he will make Kelso proud!

Thank you to everyone who came to The Declaration in The Square to support Chad! We look forward to your continued support this year!

Join us tonight in The Square from 7pm where Kelso Pipe Band will entertain us ahead of the public declaration of the 2026 Kelso Laddie on the stage at 7:30pm.

After the ceremony we invite you to join the Kelso Laddie at the Tait Hall for the Declaration Disco.

Tickets are available from Browns Newsagents or pay at the door.

Tickets are £5 and the disco is over 18's only
