Alzheimer Scotland in the Borders

The Borders Dementia Resource Centre is based at 19 Bridge Street, Kelso, TD5 7HT.

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading dementia organisation in Scotland. We’re committed to providing support, information and dementia friendly activities in the heart of local communities.

Our Borders Dementia Resource Centre is based on Bridge Street in Kelso. Our team, Kelly, Rebecca and Lyndsay, are dedicated to supporting people living with dementia, their carers and their friends and family, across the Borders. Our support includes:

Dementia and Activity Cafes: a friendly and welcoming event where you meet other people living with dementia, as well as their partners, family members and friends

Befriending: We want people with dementia to be able to keep doing the things they love, get out and about, and enjoy being part of their local community. If you can volunteer for a regular amount of time every month, you could make a real difference towards the confidence and well-being of a person with dementia in the Scottish Borders.
