A group of like minded individuals based in Keighley, with an interest in most smaller gauge models

You will receive a warm welcome from a lot of like minded railway modellers at our new club based in Keighley, West Yorkshire. We mainly concentrate on the smaller scales of model railways. But we do have around 12 layouts either built or under construction, ranging in scales from Z up to and including O gauge.

Waiting outside Sowerby. A peak hauled freight service waits on Copley viaduct whilst a passenger service between Leeds and Manchester waits on the south side of the triangle as traffic at Sowerby Bridge clears. -H

Network Rail’s converted 153 seen at York during the works taking place at Church Fenton after fully taking over from its class 950 predecessor that was decommissioned earlier this year. -H

Loco spotlight 🤩. The rarely seen in N gauge LNER Y1 sentinel. Perfect for shunting maneuvers in goods yards and carriage sidings. What do you guys think of this lovely little loco! -H

The cutters torch is slowly approaching this pacer at Huddersfield station. It’s second half currently resides at Airedale hospital however no buyer has been found for this one and so the decision has been made to scrap it ☹️-H

Definitely a big recommend on my part here. A lot of the old Graham Farish models come without cab windows so they have to be fitted manually. For me the best solution is using this micro Kristal clear as when it dries you really can’t tell that it wasn’t from the original model. -H

Good morning everyone just an administrative update.

The club is saddened by the fire that took place last night at Dalton mills. As it stands there is no damage to the clubrooms or the rest of our building.

We ask anyone who may have any information regarding the fire to pass said information straight to West Yorkshire Police as they conduct their investigation.

A couple of Dates to remember for the end of the year;

This years AGM will take place on Tuesday 3rd of November at 7:30pm. Pie and Peas will be available so if anyone would like a meal please let the committee know ASAP as well as if you’d prefer Pork or Veggie options.

The Christmas Party will take place on Saturday 12th December at 10:00am with more details nearer the date.
