😸❤️ 5 Adults Ready From Our Multi-cat Rescue!! ❤️😸

5 of our adult kitties who were rescued from our severe multi-cat household situation.... are now ready to find their new homes and are on our website!!

If you don't know their story these babies were rescued from an abandoned home where 16 cats and kittens were left without any food or water for weeks on end 💔

Here are 5 of the gorgeous adults that we saved.... we also have 2 other girls who are pregnant so they will be staying in foster along with little Niamh who also needs some more foster time...

We have 1 beautiful girl Nora (first picture) and 4 boys.... Norman, Nigel, Neil and Ned! Despite their past experiences they are all such friendly and affectionate kitties who will make the most loving companions in their new homes ❤️

We are so happy to say that none of the have any lasting damage from being left in the home without food or water..... which is just incredible news!!

They are happy to be rehomed separately but they also all get along super well so if you are looking to adopt a pair then any of these kitties would be happy to go to a home together! 🧶✂️🖌️ Crafters Needed........!!!!! 🖌️✂️🧶

We are really in need of more crafters.....!!

Do you have a creative flare or a hobby that you would like to share with YCR to help us raise more funds!? 🎨

Maybe you love knitting or crocheting..... or you sewing or anything crafty!! We have many amazing crafters who make a variety of things.... from cat nip toys, blankets or other cat related items that we can sell Online or at our Virtual stall!

Our Virtual stall is currently super busy which is AMAZING..... but they have a lot of events coming up where they will be selling goodies to the public and they urgently need more crafters as we are selling out so fast!

‼️‼️💗 Pompom Urgently Needs A Home 💗‼️‼️

We are urgently looking for a home for the gorgeous Pompom! Please read this sweet girls story below to know why...

Pompom is a gorgeous 10 year old girl who was discovered by the police after her owner sadly passed away 💔 West Yorkshire Police contacted us and the vets to try and get Pompom to safety.... but one of our incredible fosterers works in the police and they decided to temporarily foster Pompom while we wait to find her a permanent home...

Unfortunately this fosterer can only keep Pompom until the end of September maximum, as they are going away for 2 months so we urgently need to find this beautiful girl a home!

Another thing to mention is this Pompom is a diabetic cat... which unfortunately can put people off and cats with this condition can be difficult to rehome. It makes us so sad to see such gorgeous animals be turned away because people want a more 'easy going' pet.... but with with a bit of knowledge and understanding it really isn't as daunting as it may appear ❤️‍🩹

Pompom will need insulin injections twice a day to keep her healthy... but this can be easily taught with a bit of patience.... the same way people learn when they have a diabetic child ❤️

Pompom was so loved and well cared for by her previous owner who had no struggles doing this for her on a daily basis! We think that she needs an older couple or somebody who works from home.... who will have the time to provide this for her throughout the day!

This has been a massive change for Pompom and you can imagine how she's feeling right now.... so we are just crossing all our fingers that she can find somebody who will love her just as much as her previous family and make sure her health is taken care of. She deserves the same chance as any other cat to find her happy ending ❤️

She is looking for an indoor home where she is the only kitty as she was s single cat in her previous home!

🤍🤍✨ Angel Is Off To Her New Home......!!! ✨🤍🤍

Do you remember the beautiful Angel?

Angel is 11 years old and came to YCR after she was found with a severe injury to her ear and was handed into the vets ❤️‍🩹

After examining Angels ear which must have been causing her so much pain..... they were unsure if this was an injury that has been left untreated, a severe bite wound, or possibly cancer as she is a white cat and therefore more susceptible to skin cancer...

Either way the damage to the area was so severe that it was never going to heal itself without intervention. The tissue had died so the only option wad to remove Angels ear before the area became so much worse or got severely infected ❤️‍🩹

Angel's surgery went really well and she then spent some time back at the centre while she healed.... eagerly waiting until she was healthy enough to find her forever home!

Yesterday Angel finally left the centre with her new owner to go start a fresh chapter in her life....and we could not be happier for her! Angel is so loved already and we can't wait to receive her updates once she's all settled in!

💛💛 Leo and Luna In Their New Home!! 💛💛

Such a lovely adoption update on Leo and Luna in their new home together! This gorgeous pair come in together with their mummy and other siblings as their previous owner was unable to keep them...

Amazingly they were adopted together and have now found their paradise in their forever family ❤️

"Luna and Leo are doing great! Leo is very affectionate and comes to us all for pets regularly, and Luna is the energetic one and loves to play and explore!

They like to play by themselves but not for too long, when they realise they are alone they make the cutest chirping and trilling noises to invite each other to join in, and will settle down for a nap side by side.

We are so delighted with our mischievous duo, we want to thank you so much for everything your team and the foster parents have done, and thank you so much for letting us have the opportunity to add Luna and Leo to our family, they have settled in so quickly we can’t imagine our lives without them!"

What an incredible update thank you so much fro sharing it with us! We wish you many more years together living your best lives!! 🐾❤️

‼️‼️❤️‍🩹 Please Help Us Raise Emergency Funds ❤️‍🩹‼️‼️

Thank you all so much for continuing to share and donate towards our emergency appeal ❤️

For those of you that don't know we have currently taken on a multi-cat household where we rescued 16 cats and kittens from an abandoned home, where they'd been left without food or water for weeks on end. They all need urgent vetinary treatment after living in such shocking conditions for so long which we are currently trying to fund with your help ❤️‍🩹

We also have baby Elsie who is still having treatment on her poorly eyes to try and prevent them from being removed. Even thought Elsie is now home from the vets we still have her inpatient vet bill to take care off.... and she is still on multiple medications and will be having more visits with the Ophthalmologist while we fight to save her eyes...

Also as you've now seen today.... we've had multiple other intakes over the weekend so our centre is truly full to the brim with cats who require constant care and vet appointments to keep them all comfortable ❤️‍🩹

Many of you know how expensive it can be when your fur baby gets sick or needs an emergency vet appointment. Now times that by the hundreds of cats in our care and you can imagine the costs we are currently dealing with 💔

We will continue to give our all to every singe one of them but we can only do this if we physically have the funds!!

Any penny you can spare would mean the world and will help save lives. The baby Elsie that you see in that second photo.... would not be here today if it wasn't for all your generous donations so far. That's just the reality. And the other cats you see in such horrendous conditions, will not be able to get the treatment they deserve without your help...

‼️‼️😫 More More and More Intakes 😫‼️‼️

Yes that a right..... even more mamas and babies 💔💔

Please welcome mummy Missy and he 4 stunning tortie babies..... Queen, Latifah, Salt and Pepa.... all named after 90's hip hip rappers!!

This little family were handed over into our care as sadly their previous owner was unable to keep them.... the babies are just 6 weeks old and mummy is around 2 years old ❤️‍🩹

Hopefully we can find them a cozy foster home to settle into very soon so mummy can raise her babies comfortably until they're ready for their new homes. Welcome to the YCR family little ones.... we can't believe how crazy things have been recently!

We have intakes up to our ears and they don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon!! 💔

‼️‼️💔 More Mums and Babies.......💔‼️‼️

These past few days have just been madness!!! 😫

We have another mummy and her 3- 10 week old kittens.... who were originally found back when mummy was pregnant and she was found as a stray in somebody's garden...

Mum had her babies but they couldn't stay where they were found so they've all come into our care to find their forever homes ❤️‍🩹

We've named mummy Mango... and her babies are Mini Cheddar, Cheeto and Wotsit and they are all girls! They are all so gorgeous and friendly we have no doubts they will be snapped up once they're ready for adoption 🧡

Welcome to the family little ones you are all safe now!

❤️‍🩹🤎 Please Meet Coffee.....🤎❤️‍🩹

ANOTHER new intake ‼️

Please say hello to the beautiful Coffee who is 18 years old and was found all by herself.... and not in the best condition 💔

Coffee was handed into the vets where they scanned her for a microchip to see if she had an owner. The vets did in fact find a microchip but after countless attempts to contact the owners..... no contact was ever made and they couldn't get a hold of them!

There could be so many reasons why.....something could have happened to the owners, they could have changed their details, moved away, or simply abandoned her.... we just don't know. But with no way of contacting them all we could do was make sure that Coffee was placed into good hands.... especially because it didn't look like she had been treated for her poorly conditions 💔

Her mouth is completely rotten which will be a massively uncomfortable for her 💔 and she has Hyperthyroidism (an over active Thyroid)....which she will need medication for...

As she is a little older and her her physical condition isn't great..... we're unsure if she'd be strong enough to go under anaesthetic for a dental to sort her teeth out. She needs to be assessed by the vets to see if she can handle it, or if not she will just have to go on antibiotics and pain relief to clear up her mouth and keep her out of pain while she lives out her days comfortably...

Our main priority is making she's she's out of pain but also making sure that we don't put her at any other risks. Of course taking her teeth out would be the most ideal scenario but we will only do this if we think this gorgeous girl is strong enough for the surgery ❤️‍🩹

If anything were to ever happen you would want the vets to be able to contact to you.... so please make this a high priority if you have changed your address, name or phone number recently!
