One of our Scouts, Asher, is attending the World Jamboree in Poland next year. Chosen from over 200 applicants! The Scout Group are very Proud of him!

He's busy fundraising and is making Woggles with the Jamboree's mascot on.

Our Squirrels are 4-6 years old! Squirrels can accomplish anything they set their sights on — and they have a great time doing it.

Our one-hour sessions offer a fantastic introduction for young children to join the Scouting community, while also helping them get ready for the exciting journey into school life.

The Scout Group would definitely recommend the Childrens carnival to any youth group or individual!! It would be great to see it become popular once again ❤️

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

Scouting is all about new experiences! Our sections try new things every week.
Every week, Squirrel Scouts gather in groups to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

Wow! What a camp that was! 198 Scouts, 6 hunters, 3hrs of game play!
The only objective..... Avoid the HUNTERS. The endgame...Be back at HQ undetected by 00:30.

Scouts were displayed on a mugshot wall, their lives (2) were tracked using a live webpage which was updated as they were caught. Brilliant! 3 Ilminster scouts were still in with 40mins to go! One caught with only 11mins left and one managing to check in with 2 mins to go. What a great game! The young people had a BLAST!

Ilminster were 3rd overall! 🥉

A huge massive well done and thank you to members of the Blackdown Scouts District team for organising this epic event!
