Friday day group is The Hive Haven, what we like to think of as a sanctuary for like minded families to come together, support each other, socialise and make new friends. 13:00-15:00 Free to attend with refreshments.

This will be our last detached work session in the parks for this October half term. You can meet our Youth Workers at Jocelyn Park 15:15-16:00 and the skate park 16:10-16:45. It’s been incredible talking with the young people and the community in the parks. Everyone has been so welcoming to our presence. It was wonderful on Wednesday to be greeted so warmly by a large group of amazing Yr9/10 at Jocelyn Park, parents can be very proud of those young people. At the skate park, such a joy to hear the cry ‘yeah, they are back’ as we were spotted walking towards the area. Young people and the community have engaged with us and given us ideas to put forward on their behalf. So, Thank You to you all, it has been a privilege and a pleasure and we will see you on Friday.

After school drop in starts again on Monday 15:15-17:15

This is an amazing project and we are honoured to be part of it, can’t wait for our visit on Monday

On Monday, I’ll be joining Dan and the team at Reach Youth Club as they kick off their UK Youth Club Tour! 🚌

The team will be travelling up and down the country, visiting youth clubs, connecting with young people and spreading a little positivity along the way.

At each stop, they’ll be donating food to the youth club, giving young people the opportunity to write a message on a panel of the bus and in a book, and inviting each club to contribute one line of lyrics. 🎶

By the end of the tour, all the lyrics will be brought together to create something truly special.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the amazing impact the team will make along the way!

School is out so no drop in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Instead, our Youth Workers will be around Jocelyn Park on those days from 2-5pm on Monday and Wednesday and 3-5pm on Friday. We will also aim to visit the skate park, Henson Park and Redstart Park during that time. Although we will be out talking to young people, we encourage any members of the community to come and have a chat with us, ask us about our work or let us know about any concerns you have in the area that you think we might be able to help with. We look forward to meeting you 🙂
