Huddersfield Musical Theatre Company

Bringing top-notch musical theatre to Huddersfield since 1896.

HMTC, Huddersfield Musical Theatre Company, formerly HAOS, may be the oldest amateur society of its kind in the district and one of the oldest in the country. We pride ourselves to produce modern and outstanding productions that are hosted at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in November each year.

Thinking about getting involved in local theatre? 🎭

We asked our Frozen cast what they’d say to anyone thinking about taking the plunge, and we love hearing what being part of a local theatre company means to them.

You don’t have to be centre stage to be part of something special. From performing to backstage roles, there’s so much that goes into bringing a show to life.

Curious about getting involved with HMTC? Check out our website page for more information - https://hmtcproductions.com/get-involved/

And if you’d like to see what all the hard work is for, come and join us in Arendelle! ❄️

Meet Marcell as Kristoff. And Emma as Sven. Sven is currently working on his big transformation 👀 💙

We promise he’s just as important to the story - whatever stage of development he’s at!
