Another fantastic and unique experience for one of our cadets, CWO Bryson, who spent the week in the Lake District on an Adventurous Training Camp 🥾🧗‍♂️🛶

What an incredible opportunity for our very own FS Kutny, who had the honour of meeting HRH The Princess Royal whilst supporting the Cadet Vocational College, following his fantastic achievement as the Westminster Award winner!

A truly memorable experience and another proud moment for us to see our cadets thrive! 👏

🌺 Proud to Support the Poppy Appeal! 🌺

Yesterday, our cadets and staff supported the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal at Huddersfield Town’s home game.

A special well done to those who marched onto the pitch for the minute’s silence, representing the Squadron with pride and professionalism. It was wonderful to see the respect and support shown by the crowd.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported our cadets.

You all did us incredibly proud! 👏

💰 FUNDS RAISED FOR OUR CADETS! ✈️

What a fantastic result from last weekend’s bag packing fundraiser! 🛍️

Our cadets were out in force, giving up their time to help shoppers pack their bags and raise vital funds for the squadron.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community, we raised an amazing £600! 🤩

A huge thank you to Morrisons for welcoming us, to everyone who kindly donated, and of course to our brilliant cadets, staff and Civilian Committee for making the day such a success! 👏

💙🫡 North Region Drill Competition! 🫡💙

After winning at Wing level earlier this summer, our cadets from 59 Squadron formed the South & West Yorkshire Wing Drill Team to compete at the North Region Competition last week.

Following weeks of hard work and long hours, the team took on some tough competition and gave it their all. Although the result wasn’t what they’d hoped for, they represented both the Squadron and Wing brilliantly! 👏

We’re incredibly proud of every cadet involved. There’s plenty to build on, and we’ll be back even stronger next year! 👀🏆

☕ Mug-nificent Additions to the Squadron! ☕

We’re delighted to have our brand-new 59 Squadron mugs with one for every member of our staff and Civilian Committee! 🙌

A huge thank you to Squadron Prints for the fantastic quality and speedy delivery. We’re really pleased with how they’ve turned out!

We’d also like to thank the RAFAC Badges & Heraldry team for their support in digitalising our official Squadron crest, allowing us to bring these mugs to life 🤩

A small touch, but a great way to celebrate the fantastic team behind 59 Squadron!
