Well this time last week Howden WI had a fabulous drop in session with Paul from Wolf Medical LTD. Delivering a 'Bystanders Can Be Lifersavers' event.
He took the time to talk to the visitors that joined us in The Shire Hall, Howden. He talked us through what to do in an emergency situation, how to use a defibrillator and he took away the mystery, and fear that some people have around them. People got hands on experience in how to use them, and how to do CPR while you were waiting for someone to fetch a defibrillator. Do you know where your nearest defibrillator is situated? Take time while you are out and about to have a look, you never know if you might need it!
