🤩 It's concert week!

Enjoy this sneak peek of one of this Thursday's musicians, saxophonist Rob Burton, performing in the final of BBC Young Musician of the Year 🎷

Rob will be joined this Thursday lunchtime by award-winning pianist Mark Rogers to perform Ravel's beautiful Sonatine and Poulenc's deeply expressive Oboe Sonata, with Piazzolla's vibrant, dance-infused 'History of Tango' guaranteed to provide a thrilling finale!

Our next free lunchtime concert will take place on Thursday 18 June and features an exceptional classical saxophone/piano duo! 🎷🎹

Saxophonist Rob Burton was a finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year and is a Classic FM "Star of Tomorrow". Rob will be joined by award-winning pianist Mark Rogers to perform Ravel's shimmering Sonatine, Poulenc's deeply expressive Oboe Sonata (arr. saxophone/piano), and Piazzolla's thrilling, dance-infused 'History of Tango'.

What an incredible performance this evening by Martin Roscoe … sublime playing and sublime music, with a breathtaking finale in the form of Liszt’s epic ‘St Francis of Paola Walking on the Waters’. Thank you so much Martin!

A fantastic lunchtime concert today from cellist Hannah Lewis and pianist Neil Crossland ✨ Beautiful Schubert followed by one of Neil’s own compositions – his second Cello Sonata. What a brilliant piece!
