Branch Notice

It is with mixed feelings that we announce that Kay will be stepping down as our Branch Secretary as she takes on her new role supporting the County as County Secretary.

Kay has been our Branch Secretary for a number of years, and during that time she has put so much of herself into the role. She has brought her own personality, style and way of doing things to the branch, and her commitment and dedication have been a huge part of what has made our branch what it is today.

While we are delighted that Kay is taking on this new challenge and know that the County will benefit greatly from her experience and dedication, we will certainly miss having her as our Branch Secretary. Finding someone who can fill the space she leaves behind will not be easy.

On behalf of everyone in the branch, we want to say a heartfelt thank you, Kay, for everything you have done over the years. Thank you for your time, your hard work, your commitment and, most importantly, for everything you have given to the branch.

We wish you every success in your new role.

Consequently we will have a vacancy for a Branch Secretary.

We welcome all expressions of interest for this position, please send an email to [email protected] outlining your details and we will be in touch.

This Saturday will be at the courtyard with a stall. This is an information stand only so please come along and see what we do.

Who knows, you could be helping out on one of our stalls in future.

On Saturday we attended the National Arboretum, the weather forecast wasn’t the best but as always the branch pulled together and made our plans work.

After getting drenched with the rain, lots of coffee, Tea & soups to warm up, it was still a good day that everyone enjoyed.

Thanks to all who joined us in a rather wet day out.

Especially thanks to Gav, our standard bearer, who always gives his best at any event he attends.
