Creative Transitions at Castaway Goole

Castaway’s Creative Transitions Project worked with young people at Parkway Cinema Beverley Sep-Feb 2025 to write their own song and create their own music video, achieving Bronze Arts Awards along the way!

Over 8 sessions the group worked with Project Lead Anna Webb and collaborating artists Catherine Lands, Emma Walker, Katie Harriman (Fly Girl Films) and Peter Snelling (My Pockets).

These brilliant young people were wonderful to work with and this film is a testament to their boundless creativity.

The project was generously supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and Parkway Cinema Beverley.

Creative Transitions Ellie worked with the team over at Starlight Arts to discuss access to the arts at the brilliant 20-21 Visual Arts Centre.
