A little update as I have moved into my maternity season…

✨ 13 July
✨ 10 August
✨ 14 September

Our space remains as gentle, grounding and welcoming as ever- just with a little more breathing room while I step into this next chapter.

You are always welcome to contact me at for sleep support, guidance or simply a listening ear. And if you have any midwifery-related questions or just need reassurance from someone who truly champions women, Lynsey at is here to support you with her warm, empowering care.

Thank you for being part of this beautiful community.

✨ THE CIRCLE- TOMORROW ✨

Tomorrow is a special one… it’s my last weekly Circle before I head off on maternity leave. I’m feeling all the emotions, but mostly so much gratitude for this space, for you, and for the way Lynsey and I have built something truly supportive and nurturing together.

The Circle won’t be disappearing while I’m away- it will shift to a beautiful monthly meet-up with Lynsey at the helm, supported by a few helping hands, until I return and we’re reunited again. The heart of it stays exactly the same. 💛

And we have the loveliest guest joining us tomorrow: .m Melanie Mitchley, an incredible private chef who works with families to create tailor-made meals for fridge and freezer- whether that’s on a weekly basis, ad hoc, or even as the most thoughtful new-baby gift. She’ll be sharing her wisdom, her experience, and her passion for taking the pressure off busy families.

It’s going to be a gorgeous Circle, full of connection, conversation and nourishment, in every sense.

I can’t wait to share this last weekly one with you. 🫶🏻✨ Roxy

If you’ve had one of those mornings…
where you feel overstimulated, overtired, over-everything-
you’re not the only one.

The Circle Horsham is a place you can show up exactly as you are.
No pretending.
No pressure.
No judgment.
Just support.
Warmth.
And real conversations with people who understand the mental load you’re carrying.

The services are disappearing… and mums are feeling it more than ever.
Unless your baby isn’t gaining weight, support is minimal and even then it comes with constant appointments, pressure and disruption to the calm you’re trying to build at home.
But what about everyone else?
The first-time mums, the mums doing this again with a totally different baby, the mums overwhelmed by the responsibility of keeping a tiny human alive from their own body alone…
They’re being left to figure it out in silence.
I remember needing the weekly reassurance that my daughter was gaining weight, needing that dot on the chart to believe that I was still sustaining her. I grew her, birthed her, healed, and still fed her with nothing but my breast. 🤯
That kind of support mattered. It still matters.
And we know so many of you need it too.
We’re working behind the scenes to build more for you.
But for now, we’re exactly where we can make a difference:
John Lewis Cafe Horsham
Every Monday | 9.30–11.30
A midwife, a sleep consultant, and a space filled with other parents who are thinking and feeling so many of the same things as you.
Stop googling, stop spiralling at 3 a.m., stop carrying it alone.
Come and talk. Come as you are. You’re not alone in this. 🤍

I can feel a huge shift in every parent I speak to…
Lynsey and I are here every week because we see something deeper- a movement, a change, a collective knowing that’s growing stronger by the day.
More and more parents want to do things differently.
Not perfectly.
Not drastically.
Just consciously, compassionately, and with the awareness we now have access to.
Parents want connection.
They want understanding.
They want to support their children’s emotional health, nervous system, development, and sense of self- not out of trend, but out of instinct.

But here’s the truth no one says out loud:
So many parents want this but have no guidance, no support, and no confidence to make these changes in a steady, grounded way.
And it’s not because they’re unsure.
It’s because the old systems, old advice, and old expectations haven’t kept up with what parents intuitively know now alongside services disappearing each week.

We’re living in a time where a very loud minority is shouting about how parents “should” raise their children…
but the quiet majority?
They’re craving something gentler.
Something wiser.
Something rooted in care and actual understanding.

Every week I hear the same whispers:
“We want to do this differently.”
“We weren’t supported.”
“We don’t want to repeat what we grew up with.”
“We just need someone to help us move with more certainty.”
There is a movement happening- one grounded in awareness, love, regulation, and connection.
Parents aren’t trying to reinvent society; they’re simply trying to raise children with the wisdom and knowledge we finally have.

This is why The Circle exists.
To hold that quiet majority.
To give parents a place to breathe.
To offer support that sees the whole picture- not just the symptoms.
To help you move confidently, not fearfully.
With knowledge, not noise.
With community, not isolation.
You’re not alone in wanting to parent differently.
You’re not unrealistic.
You’re not “going too far.”

You’re part of a powerful, rising shift in how we care for the next generation.
And you deserve to feel supported as you do it.

I met a couple who had done everything right.
They’d spoken to the GP.
They’d spoken to health visitors.
They’d asked every “official” point of support…
and still felt completely stuck.
Their baby had ongoing skin issues and broken sleep- nothing seemed to help.
And as they were talking, I felt that familiar mix of frustration and compassion rise up.

Because what they were describing is something I see again and again:

👉 When a baby’s skin and sleep are struggling, it’s often an outward signal of what’s going on inside- especially their gut.

This little one was born via C‑section and given preventative antibiotics at birth.
Mum then had a 10‑day course of antibiotics herself, passed through breastfeeding.

And yet…

Not one professional had spoken to them about probiotics.
Not one person had explained the impact this can have on:
• a baby’s gut
• their skin
• their sleep
• and even mum’s mental health

Months had passed.
Months of worry, discomfort, exhaustion… with no mention of a very simple piece of support.

And this is where I struggle- deeply.

Because parents are doing everything they’re told.
They’re asking for help.
They’re chasing answers.
But the system is overstretched, simplified, and often can’t join the dots.

At The Circle, we sit with families, listen properly, and bring the knowledge that so many parents are missing, not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because no one has told them.

Sometimes the first step isn’t “sleep support.”
It’s understanding the body, the gut, and what’s really going on beneath the surface.

If you’re feeling unheard, overwhelmed or confused… please know this:
You are not the problem.
The lack of support is.

This is why The Circle exists.
To give families what they should have had all along- guidance, clarity, connection, and real support.

✨ We’re here, every Monday, 9:30–11:30 in John Lewis Horsham.
Free. Welcoming. Judgment‑free.
Just real conversations that can change everything.

The early weeks after birth are tender.
You’re healing.
 You’re learning your baby.
You’re adjusting to a completely new rhythm of life.
Support during that time shouldn’t feel like something else to organise, travel to, or fit around everything else.
The NHS midwives work incredibly hard within a stretched system and for some families, that model works well.
But there are different ways to experience postnatal care.
For some families, having unrushed time, continuity, and care in their own home makes all the difference. Space to ask every question. Space to debrief birth. Space to feel steady before someone leaves.
Because how you feel in those early weeks becomes the foundation of everything that follows.
If you’re exploring your postnatal support options, I offer a range of packages designed around different needs and circumstances.
You’re always welcome to message me for a no-pressure chat 🤍

Every week more parents tell us the same thing:

“I had my baby… and then the support just stopped.”
No check-ins.
No space to talk about how they actually feel.
No one noticing the overwhelm behind the smile.

And this is exactly why Lynsey (midwife) and I hold The Circle every week.

💛 A space where you don’t have to pretend.
💛 A space to ask the questions you’ve been carrying.
💛 A space to say, “This is harder than I expected”… and be met with warmth, not judgement.

Because postpartum doesn’t end at 6 weeks.
It doesn’t even end at 6 months.
It’s a rewiring- of your mind, your body, your identity- and you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.

So if you’re feeling unseen, unheard or stretched thin…

Come sit with us.
No booking. No pressure. Just two women who genuinely care.
