Two exciting events happening this coming weekend!

Saturday 20th June - Family friendly bioblitz from 12:00-3:00pm. Stay all afternoon or just drop in for a while.
12:00 - 12:30 meet at Church Lane Carpark and find out how to bioblitz!
12:30-1:30 - Guided "Chalk and Walk" down Horsforth Nature Corridor
1:30-3:00 - Low Lane Rec for Your Own 1m² Nature Patch and River Fly Monitoring

Sunday 21st June - Wildlife friendly open gardens - various times and locations across Horsforth. Come and find out more about wildlife friendly gardening.

As part of the Horsforth Nature Corridor we have created some wildflower areas on Low Lane Rec.
When we last went to check the seedlings were just beginning to grow, so hopefully we will have some beautiful wildflower areas later in the summer.
Look out for some signage from Leeds Parks and Countryside Service which is hopefully coming soon!

Move it Horsforth Week is nearly here - will you join in? get inspired as you walk or cycle to school, work or your regular activity - what can you see, hear or smell on your way? Take photos, do a drawing, write a poem! Send it to us at [email protected]. We will display it our venue during the Horsforth Walk of Art at the Grove church - 4th and 5th of July. You can also bring it along on Friday 3rd between 3pm and 6pm.
