On Saturday, a group of us went over to Castlewood Vineyard for a tour around their vines and the history behind the making of Castlewood wine!
A massive thank you must go to Rob Corbett and family for taking up the time on the weekend to show us around, what an amazing set up you have and delicious wine you guys create🍷

Another thank you must go to Nick and Robert Reed for organising our day out and our mode of transport back to the Kingfisher pub to carry on our evening 🍻🍔

Whilst our overs were busy drinking wine,
we had 8 of our junior members go away for the weekend up to Shropshire on the South West Area YFC
I believe fun was had by all, new friendships made, camping experience had and most of all lots of laughter!!
We look forward to hearing all about your weekend! 🏕️🏕️🏕️

Our members are gearing up for an ambitious 24 hour static cycle challenge. To raise funds for our chosen charities which are Force Cancer and RABI. Members will be peddling around the clock to keep the wheels turning through the day and night. Starting 7pm Friday evening!

Yesterday we had 2 different sports events going on…

9 of us headed to Crediton leisure centre to take part in the Devon netball competition! We had 7 matches to play coming away joint 5th with Yarcombe🏐
Well done everyone who played!!

At Offwell was the FWA championships, which the boys had a team out for! Pulling in 4 different weights 600,640,680 & 720 coming away in 3rd place throughout the day! A big well done💪

What a day we had as a club this year at Honiton Show🎪💪

Thank you to all the members who entered classes in the young farmers tent, it looked very fully and well done to all that placed! 👏
Big well done also needs to go to Maicey Bennett who is our club show secretary this year, amazing efforts with all the club classes, from the club cubicle to the animal scarecrow, upcycled pallet, the list goes on👏

Great results for our Tug of War teams too, both men and ladies placed first!! 🥇

In the evening it was a quick turn around for the members marquee as we hosted our ‘After show disco’. Thank you to everyone that came and supported our disco, we hope you all had a good time🍻

Back at the end of July we had a fun club social - Raft Race🛶
Whitford Bridge - Boshill Bridge

Great way to have spent our Sunday afternoon! Took a little longer then we all first thought but can definitely say we all had a good laugh! 🙈

Had to make it a bit of a competition with the fastest times, best dressed and most effort! 💪

1st : Jack and Sam - 93mins
2nd : Rabbi - 107mins
3rd : George and Alex - 120mins
4th : Izzy, Zara, Lucy and Rosie - 132mins
5th : Juniors Gals - 192mins
6th : Lads - didn’t quite make it around the last few corners!

Best dressed - Oktoberfest gals👗
Most effort - The junior gals, hours spent building there raft!!⚒️

Look forward to next Sunday when a couple of the rafts reappear for Axminsters raft race!! 🍻

A massive well done to the Honiton TOW ladies who travelled up to Tenby at the start of August for the Tug of War National competition💪

It was a tough day in the heat but the girls worked hard and pushed through to get a well deserved 4th place👏amazing effort!
Big thank you must go to Damo for all the training, time given and driving the mini bus up so we could all participate!

Another huge thank you must go to Sophie, Elsa and Olivia who joined with the honiton ladies for them to have a full team, couldn’t have done it with out you🙏
