Devon Freewheelers is looking for more volunteers to join the team and help us continue supporting the NHS and communities across the county.

🏍️ Riders
🚗 Drivers
☎️ Controllers
❤️ Fundraisers

Every role matters. Whether you’re out on the road, helping coordinate vital journeys or supporting our fundraising efforts, your time can help keep our service moving.

You don’t need to give every day or every weekend — just giving what time you can makes a difference.

🚗 Charity Car Wash Update 🚗

Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, we’re unable to host a Devon Freewheelers Charity Car Wash this month.

We know how popular these events have been, and we’re disappointed not to be able to welcome you along this time.

The good news is that we’re hoping to bring the Charity Car Wash back, so keep an eye on our pages for an update in December regarding a possible return. 🧽🚙

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and continued support of Devon Freewheelers. 💙

🎃 Happy Halloween from everyone at Devon Freewheelers! 👻🏍️

While the ghosts and ghouls are out tonight, our volunteers will still be doing what they do best — helping keep vital deliveries moving across Devon.

Whether you’re trick-or-treating, heading to a Halloween event or having a quiet night in, we hope you have a safe and suitably spooky evening! 🕷️🦇

And remember… not all heroes wear capes. Some wear hi-vis. 💙

💙 A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers.

Despite having to contend with two storms last weekend, our team was still out across the County of Devon carrying out vital deliveries and supporting the NHS.

Conditions may have been challenging, but our volunteers continued to show the commitment, professionalism and dedication that keeps Devon Freewheelers moving.

From our riders and drivers out on the roads to the controllers coordinating each journey behind the scenes, every member of the team played their part.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to all of our volunteers for their bravery, dedication and continued commitment to our mission.

Whatever the weather, the work goes on. 🏍️💙

On Saturday 24th October, the White Hart Inn held a Duck Race, with DFW being one of the beneficiaries of the profits raised.

It was certainly a day to remember, as Storm Boulo brought torrential rain! Thankfully, the finish line could be viewed from the pub windows as the ducks made good progress through the swollen stream.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the event, especially those outside who got completely soaked in their efforts to make it a success!

A special thank you to Grant, one of our West Riders, for making the connection with the White Hart Inn, and to Jamie for representing DFW on the day and flying the flag for us.

We are very grateful to the White Hart Inn for including DFW as one of the beneficiaries of the profits raised. Thank you to everyone involved for your support!
