A Huge Thank You to the Local Businesses Who Helped Gittisham Village Hall source and install a new boiler!
Gittisham Village Hall has recently faced a challenging problem with its old boiler, which had reached the point where it needed replacing. As an important hub for our village and the wider community, having reliable heating and hot water is essential to keeping the hall comfortable, welcoming and available for everyone to enjoy.
Thankfully, thanks to the kindness, generosity and support of some fantastic local businesses, we have been able to get a new boiler installed at no cost to the village hall for the boiler and donated materials, making a huge difference to our community!
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Drakes Plumbing, who helped us get in touch with a community project that made this possible.
A very special thank you goes to Vaillant Growing Communities, who kindly donated the boiler, flue, filter and flue clips. This generous donation has been invaluable in helping us resolve the problem.
We are also incredibly grateful to Wolsey’s, who donated the pipework, and Blackmore Electrical, who generously carried out the electrical work free of charge.
It is wonderful to see local businesses and community-minded organisations coming together to support our village.
Their generosity, time and expertise have helped solve a major problem for the hall and ensured that it can continue to serve as a warm, welcoming space for village events, clubs, gatherings and activities.
For a village hall, where every penny counts, this kind of support makes a tremendous difference. We simply could not be more grateful to everyone who played a part in making this happen.
