Inspiring Connections South West CIC Inspiring Connections South West CIC has been created to be an accessible, flexible, low-cost service Accessible support with grant & fundraising applications.

We believe that we can become more robust by recognising, valuing, supporting, inspiring, and connecting our community assets. We are empowering people to have a voice and space to inspire them to grow, valuing diversity from the inside to bring our communities together and enrich all of our lives. Services we provide:

Fundraising - Offering Voluntary Community & Social Enterprise support. Suppor

t at community events. Fundraising event project planning. Small group safeguarding and DBS checks - Provision of review and audit of group policies and procedures. Support to update and maintain a high level of ongoing safeguarding practice. DBS check provision to groups who may not have the capacity to undertake and maintain basic provision. Project partnership & management - Offering a flexible platform for partnership work or individual charity projects. Cross group knowledge sharing and development. Volunteer engagement & asset mapping - Helping small group engage their volunteer base for the benefits of the groups aims. Enabling Service - Enabling individuals to be empowered to make choices around their health & wellbeing, helping to improve their mental health & reduce loneliness and social isolation.

I am loving these Friday morning drop in sessions. Most people I have sat alongside have great knowledge already, but don’t always recognise it! We have covered support from cloud storage , starting to use AI , to links to wider energy support. Open to all - go at your pace and we learn and share togther 🌈

I am really enjoying supporting this project.

Some of the common shared learning has been around storage , transferring data and being safe online. What has been wonderful is seeing how confident people are - and not realising they have many skills already - and it about self belief and speed ( which Is not always important).

So, please feel free to drop In and see how we can work though challenges together …… and drink great coffee !

We’re excited to be partnering with Together Devon to bring a brand new community group to Seaton! 🙌

Introducing the Seaton Recovery Community Café ☕

🗓 Launching Thursday 5th March
⏰ 12:00pm – 2:00pm
📍 Restore Café Hub, Seaton Hospital, Valley View

This will run on the first Thursday of every month and is a relaxed, welcoming drop-in space for anyone in recovery.

Come along for:
✨ A chance to connect with others
✨ Support in a safe and understanding environment
✨ Refreshments and friendly faces

Whether you’re at the start of your recovery journey or have been walking it for some time, you are warmly welcome.

We can’t wait to see this new community grow 💚
