Time Together goes from strength to strength – but we need you!

In December 2025 the team at Time Together were proud to host our 3rd Christmas lunch, completing another year in which we provided more than 20 events for the people of East and Mid-Devon. It was another full house - 25 attendees enjoyed a wonderful home-cooked three-course Christmas lunch, chat and a quiz. Our amazing volunteers helped with transport and served/entertained our guests – and we had almost as much fun as the attendees!

We have a full programme of events planned for 2026, with a lunch this week. But we are always in need of more volunteers, as there are many more local people who we know would benefit from Time Together events, but we are limited by our ability to offer transport.

Another fabulous lunch last week at the Devon Business and Education Centre in Tale, for 22 of our local community. It was lovely to see everyone after a short summer break during August.
The food was fantastic, as always (thanks Caroline!) and those attending absolutely smashed the quiz - the next one will need to be a bit more taxing!
If you can help us to provide a lift to some of our attendees, just once a month, it will make such a difference - please get in touch!

Time Together celebrates with afternoon tea

It was our final get together before a short break over the summer and what better way to celebrate those in the group with birthdays in July and August than with a fantastic afternoon tea, provided by the amazing Caroline Bentley.

It was lovely to be able to bring people together to enjoy the occasion. In total we have 9 birthdays in July and August amongst our core 30 regular attendees, so no better reason for lots of cake! And there were candles for those with big birthdays – a few 90s and one 95!

Our next lunch is on Thursday 11th September and the next coffee and cake afternoon is Thursday 25th September.
