Sad news from one of the venues who supported our fund raising events back in 2011 & 2013 . The support we had from them was amazing both from staff and owners and i know the feedback we had from visitors was so positive. We hope that the venue may be revived in the future and we wish all the team there the very best for the future.

It is with great sadness and after much soul-searching we have decided to close Pecorama, our well-loved family attraction, for the 2026 season.

With the challenging economic climate and costs continuing to rise, the PECO parent company cannot continue to support the financial losses of Pecorama. There is sincere hope that Pecorama can reopen in future in a new format which will continue to give lots of inspiration, fun and pleasure to our visitors. But, for the moment PECO will be focusing on growing the core businesses of manufacturing and publishing.

Our sincere thanks go out to all our staff and volunteers for their dedication and hard work in making Pecorama a wonderful, friendly place to visit.

If you hold a Gold Card membership with us, we are happy to offer a refund for any months that cannot be used. Please email us at [email protected] for details.

Finally, we want to thank our lovely visitors for bringing the site to life and we look forward to welcoming you all again in some form in the future.

Today we said a final farewell to one of our group members
Tracey Lawlor who passed away suddenly on 16th August 2025, aged just 47.
Tracey worked tirelessly with us for many years and was a kind, compassionate friend, always there to help out, never shy of dressing up and bringing smiles to the attendees. Tracey would often be found at our events manning the children's activities which she loved so much.
Tracey will leave a lasting legacy within our group for all the time and effort she gave with our fundraising activities and we will all miss her so much, events and catch ups just won't be the same anymore.
Tracey was involved with so many community groups, the Royal British Legion, Guides and Brownies, St John Ambulance over the years to name a few, if there was something that needed doing or time giving, Tracey would be the first to volunteer.
Tracey was a talented British Sign Language Interpreter and worked at the Deaf Academy in Exeter for 20 years , supporting and teaching students ,as well as being a fabulous carer, working in the community at the weekends something she had done for 15 years alongside her full time career.

Tracey was a huge Star Wars fan and loved attending events, one of her happiest memories was meeting Mark Hamill at the London Celebration event a few years ago, her smile that day was as bright as it could be, but then Tracey rarely let her smile fade.

Rest in Peace Tracey
