Digartref Cyf

Digartref Cyf Digartref is a not for profit registered charity and has been providing support and assistance to those affected by homelessness since 1998.

We provide both short and long term solutions for those experiencing or at risk of becoming homeless. Digartref provides a diverse range of services including: Supported Housing and Night Stop for 16 to 24 year olds, a Day Centre (The Light House) for those aged over 18, Advice and Guidance, Mediation and Learn4Life which is an accredited training programme. eless prevention projects and programmes which aim to reduce homelessness and its impact and ensure as many people as possible access support that meets their individual needs and circumstances.

Our volunteer Steve along with service user Steve, have been busy planting over the last few months.

Together along with other service users they have grown many herbs, Rhubarb, spinach, Onions and Potatoes.

Yesterday they dug out their first crop of potatoes, which will be enjoyed by service users accessing the Lighthouse Hub.

Our first year at The Lighthouse Hub with the garden, has already proven to be beneficial for our service users well-being.

With a big thanks also to our volunteer who dedicates his Tuesday's to help.

To celebrate completing their tenancy, career planning units, and workshops, the young people took part in a paintballing session. Despite mixed weather, they stayed positive and had a great time with friends.

The day showed how hard work pays off and was a brilliant opportunity for team bonding across all three projects.

I ddathlu cwblhau eu unedau tenantiaeth, cynllunio gyrfa a gweithdai, aeth y bobl ifanc i sesiwn paentbêl. Er gwaethaf y tywydd cymysg, arhoson nhw’n bositif ac fe gawson nhw amser gwych gyda ffrindiau.

Dangosodd y diwrnod sut mae gwaith caled yn talu ar ei ganfed, ac roedd yn gyfle gwych bondio ar draws y tri prosiect.

A big thank you to our volunteer Steve, who joined us yesterday and got stuck in painting the raised beds and starting work on a new vegetable patch. 🌱

It was great to see two of our service users, Stephen and Chris, getting involved and enjoying the session too.

Diolch yn fawr i’n gwirfoddolwr Steve, a ymunodd â ni ddoe ac aeth ati i beintio’r gwelyau codi a dechrau gweithio ar lain lysiau newydd 🌱
