School uniform thrift shop, low cost uniform and to prevent items going to landfill!

Who are we …

We are a small group of Anglesey local authority foster carers who feel very passionate about providing school uniforms to parents/guardians or anyone who cares for children struggling in the current financial climate.

We aim to offer affordable uniforms and world book day fancy dress costumes. We are now offering prom wear ensuring that no young person from Ynys Môn misses out on the opportunity to attend their school prom because of not having the perfect outfit.

We rely on the generosity and kindness of our communities on Anglesey for donations.
We are all aware of the high cost of kitting out just one child in school uniform let alone 2 or 3. The financial strain these costs put on families is immense. By donating and supporting the thrift shop residents are helping the local community. This, in turn, has an impact on our carbon footprint by recycling and keeping the items out of landfill. The cost of our school uniforms and fancy dress costumes is just £2 per item.

If someone is struggling, then simply have a quiet word with us and we will do what we can to help.
Any money raised will then go towards providing fun days out for Anglesey’s children in care.

We are grateful for the support we receive from Anglesey’s children’s services.

We started the thrift shop June 2024 from the back of a horse box and it has grown over the past year. We have been blown away by the generosity and support we have received from the people of Anglesey.

We have recently purchased a large exhibition trailer to use across our beautiful island as a pop up shop.
