Fun Summer Sundays with Hartlepool Sports! ☀️⚽🎨
From 26 July to 16 August (23 August in view), Diversity Network has been collaborating with Hartlepool Sports to bring children, parents and the wider community together for active, creative and enjoyable summer Sundays.
Every Sunday, our team and wonderful volunteers have been at the park helping to set up, welcome families, support activities, share flyers and encourage children to get involved.
Hartlepool sports created a special space where the children could write down their favourite thing about the park. It was a simple but important way of hearing directly from them about what makes the park enjoyable and meaningful from a child's perspective.
On 2 August, Hartlepool sports made available free shirts for the children, adding another lovely touch to the day. On 16 August, we were delighted to have Bloom in Art join us, bringing creativity and art alongside the sporting activities.
Throughout the programme, children have enjoyed football and other games while parents watched, relaxed and connected with others.
