We are delighted to announce that Hartlepool Parkrun will be supporting by hosting a Purple Parkrun this Saturday (17 Oct).

Hospice fundraisers will be present with collection buckets and and we hope that runners and spectators will add a purple flourish to their running kit, whether it be a purple t-shirt, trainers, laces or even a majestic purple outfit. πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΏβ€β™€οΈ

Rachel, one of our fantastic Registered Nurses, has been shortlisted for the Palliative Care / End of Life Award at the Great British Care Awards, following a nomination from a former colleague.

It’s wonderful to see Rachel’s dedication recognised, and we’re wishing her the very best of luck at the regional final in November.

On Friday 6 November, we're challenging you to step outside your comfort zone, take on something a little different and raise vital funds for local people and families who need Alice House Hospice.

You'll get full training before taking on the challenge, so you don't need to be a seasoned daredevil to get involved!
