A huge thank you to Dawn and Debbie, who held a tombola and raffle outside Iceland at their Winterbottom Avenue store yesterday, raising an incredible £842 for Alice House Hospice!

Speaking during their visit, Dawn said:

“I would like to take the time to thank everyone who donated the fantastic prizes for our tombola and raffle and to everyone who took part to support Alice House Hospice.

“I would also like to say a huge thank you to Debbie, who helped me organise the tombola, and to the wonderful customer who gave us such a generous donation of £80 towards our total.”

Thank you once again to Dawn and Debbie for organising the event, to everyone who donated prizes and to every customer who took part and helped make such an amazing total possible.

This Sunday, friends and family of Steven Wright will once again come together to remember him through their annual charity football match 💜⚽

The Steven Wright Memorial Cup will take place on Sunday 30th August at Seaton Carew FC, with kick-off at 2pm.

Two teams made up of Steven’s family and friends will go head-to-head in what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of football, friendship and memories.

Players and spectators are invited to make a donation online using the link below. All proceeds will go to Alice House Hospice, where Steven was cared for.

It’s set to be a fantastic weekend of sport, entertainment and fundraising at Hartlepool Cricket Club, all in support of Alice House Hospice.

From the annual Ian Jackson Double Wicket Competition on Sunday to the Over 40s football vs cricket clash on Bank Holiday Monday, there’ll be plenty happening.
