😂 APRIL FOOLS! 😂
As much as we tried to make it official…
➡️ Hartlepool Round Table will NOT be rebranding to Hartlepool Square Table ⬛
While we briefly considered rewriting history, it turns out our name is actually rooted in something far more… round.
The Round Table emblem (the rondel) is inspired by the famous medieval round table housed in Wi******er Great Hall, long associated with the legend of King Arthur and his knights.
So despite our best efforts (and very square seating arrangements), we’ll be sticking with tradition…
Even if none of us have ever actually sat at a proper round table 👀
Thanks to everyone who bit — and those already redesigning the logo 😅

🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – NAME CHANGE 🚨
Following a full review at our recent AGM, and in the interest of accurately reflecting how we operate as a group…
We can confirm that Hartlepool Round Table will be rebranding with immediate effect.
From today, we will now be known as:
⬛ Hartlepool Square Table ⬜
This decision comes after it was highlighted that the majority of our meetings actually take place… around square tables.
We felt it was only right that our name properly reflects the reality of how we conduct business.
We appreciate this may take some getting used to, and we ask for your support as we begin updating branding, signage, and (most importantly) our seating arrangements moving forward.

Happy Mother’s Day from Hartlepool Round Table!

Behind every great Tabler, there’s usually an incredible mum who supported, inspired, and shaped the man he’s become. Today, we celebrate the amazing mothers who raised leaders, adventurers, and gentlemen.

To the mums who encouraged us to step up, give back, and make a difference, thank you!

We also stand with those for whom today is difficult. Those who have lost their mum or didn’t have her around. You are part of the Round Table family, and the bonds of fellowship remind us that no one stands alone.

Please feel free to share the best advice your mum, or a mother figure in your life, ever gave you.

March 14th marks the day that Louis Marchesi opened the very first Round Table in Norwich in 1927, bringing together young men to exchange ideas, build friendships, and play an active role in their communities.

🎉 Hartlepool Round Table Boxing Day Dip 2025 – What a Day! 🎉

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who braved the icy waters this Boxing Day! 🌊 You’ve helped raise thousands and thousands of pounds for charities and good causes. Some of you even did it just for the craic! 🙌

This year’s numbers surpassed all expectations, and you didn’t disappoint with your outfits! We saw:
🦸 Superman
🍌 Bananas
🐴 A horse
🪥 Toothpaste
😲 A man in a thong
👙 A couple of mankinis
…and plenty of brave souls in swimming suits!

The weather was hostile, a cool 3°C wind chill ❄️, but spirits were sky high and every single one of you should be proud of your achievement. 💪

For the last 10 years this event has been run by Hartlepool Round Table with the guys putting in countless hours away from their families to make sure it happens.

However without the help of others we couldn't do what we do. We’d like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to:

✅ Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team
✅ The Marine Hotel
✅ Stockton-on-Tees Round Table
for their incredible support.
